Pagoda Hotel

The only good thing about the hotel is the breakfast for 5 dollars, you get a full meal and a drink, and the food is very good. Also the Ala Moana mall is very close which is convenient. First of all the hotel is renovated but in my taste poorly. The location is what you pay for a bit far away. The worst part of the hotel is the cleanliness. There are COCKROACHES , we saw 5 during our stay, which is horrible, they probably live in the walls. It is not clean all together. When you tell them at the front desk about what happened, they first of all are rude, offer you a different room, but in my opinion the whole hotel is probably infested with cockroaches, then they tell you some rooms have them and some don’t (which doesn’t make sense at all??). I then asked them why did they give me a room with them, then they proceed to tell you how would they know which ones have them and which don’t???? So all together I don’t recommend staying here, the price is not worth it, and also the resort fee is ridiculous because there is no resort and the pool is awful.

The room and hotel were decent enough for a short stay. There are restaurants and small eateries very close by. Good location and connectivity. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The building and some facilities are very old, for example, the air conditioning. There was a gap between the window and the unit itself, and this caused the room not to be cooled sufficiently. The coffee unit wasn't setup on a table it was placed in a cupboard where burn accidents could easily happen.

The quietness. The bed was a little too soft. Only changed towels, not bedding. It was at an extra expense. Couldn't connect the Phone to the TV.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pagoda. Very good location, easy street parking, breakfast and good service!

The room was clean. The pillows a little stiff but overall pretty good for a good price. The pool is little but it’s enough to just enjoy a dip. The store was a nice addition. Very nice people everywhere on the property. The staff was super wary and accommodating. Will stay here again.

I liked the koi fish pond and waterfall feature. I like that there is a store in this hotel with good hours of operation. There is also a laundry mat in this hotel and the hotel is in a good location close to the Ala Moana Mall, Walmart, Sam’s Club, and lots of restaurants. The pool is small and there was one staff member in the breakfast restaurant that was not friendly.
