Pagoda Hotel

Staff was outstanding. The hotel and location were not. There were multiple homeless and druggies hanging out around the facility. My daughter was terrified to leave the room. We ended up paying an extra four hundred dollars to stay at a different hotel.

The staff were friendly. The location was excellent—10 minutes away from Ala Moana Shopping Center —walking. Central location. Breakfast was $5.00 with a coupon at check-in. A Little noisy with street traffic.

Check in was easy and pleasant.

Though the convenience store on site was closed, it wasn't much of a detriment. There's plenty of stores in walking distance, and the mall is as well. Well worth the price per night, give the new Pagoda a go!

The breakfast. I wanted to reach out about a few issues we experienced during our stay this past weekend, August 7–9. We had two rooms booked, Rooms 962 and 967. I had specifically added my mom’s name to the reservation ahead of time so she wouldn’t have any problems checking in before we arrived. When she got there, though, the front desk told her they couldn’t check her in because the reservation was showing under my name and not hers. I had also sent the confirmation over showing that my moms name was on the reservation. In addition tried to call but got put on hold and forgotten. Since we were flying in later, she ended up having to wait about three hours for us to arrive.That was probably the most frustrating part for me because the whole reason I added her name was so she wouldn’t have to wait around for us. Once she was finally checked into Room 962, someone unexpectedly walked into her room, which was concerning. Later that evening, when we came back, her room keys were no longer working. We were staying in Room 967, and the entry light was also out, so it was really dark trying to get into the room that evening. We’ve stayed with you folks before and have had a much better experience, so this stay was a little disappointing. I understand that things happen, but there were quite a few issues this time around, especially my mom having to wait three hours when I had already taken the time to add her name to the reservation. I’d appreciate it if someone could look into what happened and see if there’s anything that can be done to make this right.

Whenever I come to Honolulu, I always stay at the Pagoda Hotel. The location, friendly staff, breakfast, and overall convenience make my stay very comfortable every time.

​One of its best features is the location is extremely convenient; it is within easy walking distance to major shopping centers, local spots, and surrounding neighborhood attractions. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient Honolulu visit!

location was perfect. walking distance to the mall, walmart and sams, don quiote. Have a laundry on site. no microwave.
