The views of Diamond Head where amazing!

The bathroom was full of black mold. The room was dirty and it smelled like mildew. The carpet is absolutely nasty. The bathroom is incredibly small. You have to pivot between the toilet, door and tub to just close the door. Not even 3 in. Of clearance. The pool is sooo small and crowded, didn’t even get to use it. The “ocean view” was not worth it. The “view” was covered by buildings and could only see a tiny part of the ocean. No real amenities for beach lounging. You can get beach items which are about 3-4 blocks away. These items are ran down and falling apart.

Good size rooms, friendly staff, good outdoor pool area and across the road from the beach.

The disappointments didn’t stop there. We found out that two of the resort’s restaurants were closed, which was frustrating because they were part of the reason we chose this hotel. The very next day, we were told we had to pack up all of our belongings and move rooms because of a water leak. Having to interrupt our vacation to move rooms was a major inconvenience. To make matters worse, we were moved to a lower floor where we could barely see the ocean. The new room had several problems—the phone didn’t work, the hallway smelled like mildew, and one day the air conditioning stopped working completely. What was most concerning was that we weren’t the only guests experiencing problems. We overheard many other guests complaining about things around the hotel not working, which made it seem like these issues were widespread rather than isolated. From the outside, Alohilani looks like a beautiful luxury resort, but our experience was the opposite. For the price, the maintenance and service simply did not meet expectations. If you’re planning a Waikiki vacation, I would recommend staying next door at the Marriott or the Sheraton instead. Their amenities are better maintained, the rooms are nicer, and they offer a bett

We stayed here for 6 nights for a girls grad celebration for me and my two daughters. Everything about this hotel was perfect from the relaxing vibes to the location and convenience to stores and restaurants. My daughter said in the last day that the hotel actually made the whole trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the front desk representative Jane. Jane was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful from the moment we checked in. Her outstanding hospitality made us feel truly welcome. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to others.

I had a problem with the first room. I was in as far as the guest next-door being really noisy and they moved me to another room, which was much nicer. I really appreciated that they did that.

Staff was beyond friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. Location was right across the beach. All you need is next to your hotel. Beautiful outdoor pool and clean facility.

Do not come here had a dirty room with blood on it. Got told they would move us. They moved us after holding us up 1 hour and a half to a room with mold on the bathroom ceiling. Missed out on our excursion and lost out on money. Would not come back

    Terrible

The rooms were kept clean as well as the resort itself, a very beautiful place as well as convenient. Waikīkī Beach is barely a 2 minute walk, and plenty of food options close by. The only thing I would note is that the rooms are not very updated. They’re comfortable but I wish the rooms were better considering the price. The bathrooms were AMAZING though. Love the bidet.

The resort itself was in a wonderful place and allowed us to have quick access to the beach and the free rentals from Beach Candy was such a perk. Like any resort the lobby is gorgeous and welcoming, it starts getting ugly when you enter the rooms. We arrived on a Friday night and was assisted by Samantha at the front desk. My first impression of my hotel stay and my first time in Waikiki was completely ruined by her. She was not welcoming, she provided me ZERO information on the resort, to mention she didn’t let me know where the pool was located, if I had a vehicle, where we could obtain beach towels. I had to ask her things which luckily I had already researched. I was in an ocean view double bedroom. The view was ok, the bathroom is a 0 star, completely outdated and moldy. Housekeeping everyday was awesome, they made the bed and changed towels only. Did not scrub toilets or tub, I had to call for additional towels every night. The pool area was nice, more of a night life ambient. The pool was not lit at night and every person that went up from the dining area to the pool area tripped on the steps, be careful. Not so kid friendly. Requested late checkout which was approved for additional $ and they stored our bags for additional time at bell desk. Breakfast was good, which we received as complimentary, not very good options for kids. The coffee maker in room did not work, it made espresso shots only. ABC store 1st floor with access to the hotel was amazing!
