We had a wonderful stay at ʻAlohilani Resort Waikiki Beach. The location was excellent, the room was comfortable, and the ocean view was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location!

Staff were friendly and happy to help. I asked to move my room and they had no problem accommodating my request.

The room was impeccable. The staff work hard to keep it clean and fresh. The pool area is beautiful and the beach view is even more so. I wish that front desk was friendlier. The bell desk and consierge provide excellent customer service. The hotel is perfectly situated near the beach and on the Waikīkī strip. I would definitely stay here again.

The outdoor pool/bar was crowded day and night and so we were unable to enjoy the space the but if you don’t mind a crowd it’s amazing. There were many other activities within walking distance of the resort and an ABC store conveniently located inside the resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a ocean view room but unfortunately the view was obstructed by other buildings and so there was only a partial view of the ocean. Mini fridge is in the room and complimentary refillable water bottles were provided however a microwave had to be rented for a fee per day.

Did not have a good experience at all

Nice hotel and good location

The long wait times for the elevators were especially frustrating, and the service did not feel as helpful or organized as we expected. I understand that the storm affected hotel operations, but I believe there could have been better communication and customer service to make guests feel more supported. Overall, it was an okay experience, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Clean room, amazing atmosphere, less than a minute walk to the beach. You’re almost near the center of everything. I didn’t need to call an uber.

The hotel's location is highly advantageous, situated directly across from the beach and in close proximity to dining and retail establishments. The pool area remains a personal highlight during my stays. Regarding the longboard food service, I recommend a review of pricing relative to the available options, as I found the current offering to be of limited value. Furthermore, I observed inconsistencies in the thoroughness of housekeeping services. To ensure consistent quality, I suggest implementing a supervisory inspection protocol for cleaned rooms. Despite these minor points, I would still consider returning to this establishment.

The staff was super nice and very helpful when we wanted to extend our checkout time due to a later flight that day. Beautiful property and great amenities! The food and drink at the bar by the pool was top notch as well. Will definitely be staying there again!

Alohilani is a nice hotel; clean and friendly staff. But its location (near lots of restaurants, food trucks, coffee/matcha, shopping and just across the street from Waikiki Beach) is the best part of staying there.
-
The infinity pool is what made me book here. View and pool is gorgeous, that’s pretty much the best part of this hotel. Not 5 star to me. The rooms aren’t in the best shape, paint peeling, rust in shower, very basic bathroom- nothing special. Be prepared for the elevators to take FOREVER. The ice machine room was disgusting and pipes were exposed and rusty. It literally grossed me out.

Very unorganized…. Purchased ocean front double beds. Had vacation booked for months to only arrive and find out they over booked resort. So we were put in a King only bed night one. Not what we paid for. We were told they would have to bring a roll away bed, never did. Room smelled, very dated, linens had stains , floor had food debris, bathroom was really small. Definitely not as advertised in pictures. This was just the start of our stay.
-
On a positive note, the room was a decent size, and I liked the fact that the sink was located outside of the bathroom. Additionally, the beds were quite comfortable—so much so that I could have slept all day.

I will recommend this hotel to everyone

Nice place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful
-
Great location but there is a terrible musty smell on several levels, especially the pool level. The hottub jets were broken. I would love to see the smell taken care of and the hottub fixed before I go back, especially since a resort fee of 50 per day plus taxes is charged.
