Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa

The hotel was top notch. It was clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful with all of our needs. The sunset views from our room were incredible! The best part was that Waikiki beach is right across the street!! I will definitely be coming back to the Marriot when I vacation here in the future.

The pool and nearby Queensbreak restaurant was very enjoyable. However our balcony was not accessible due to construction, which occurred daily from 9-4:00pm and was very loud! We were not informed of the construction when we booked the room, and our charge was for an ocean view balcony room. We also experienced a power outage for over 6 hours one night, with no AC and only light was from a glow stick given to us by the hotel. Very disappointing overall.

Overall hotel is very clean and staff are very accommodating. Location is walking distance to beach and close to everything which is ideal. Considering it is Hawai’i I was hoping to get greeted with a Lai at least. Other hotels especially for the price greet you with a beverage when you enter or a nice towel decor of a swan or something in your room bed. We didn’t get any of that. Pick ups for tours were at a different hotel which was close enough.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Beach is easy to get too across the street. We had problems with the bathroom in our room and to be moved to another room. The Luau was excellent at the hotel. The food and cocktails at hotel are average.

We called several times to the front desk and house keeping line from our room, but no one answers. We have to go all the way down to the front desk to request bedding change. Horrible

Room was always cleaned early, staff was really helpful. Was unable to use the balcony we paid for due to construction. Was not advice before. But overall great place to stay great staff.

I got the corner junior suite room. The best views. Staff was great and helpful. Loved that there was a 24hour laundry and also abc store right down stairs for any needs for the room. Would definitely be staying here again.

We were moved from the big island of Hawaii to this hotel in Honolulu,which we are very thankful for!But our flight got canceled due to weather conditions! I was hoping for some price consideration because of the situation but there was no discussion!I understand business but I also would expect that some circumstances would allow for some variances!

This hotel has a great location, right across the street from the beach, just a few steps from the park, and a couple of blocks from the shopping center. Our sliding door was filled with a perfect view of Diamond Head. There are not one, but two Starbucks on property that open at 4am for the early birds, but there are nicer coffee places just down the street for the connoisseurs. The lady at the front desk upgraded our room to a double for $65/night, which was perfect because we had a kid who was going to sleep on the sofa-bed of our original single king bed room. Overall, great stay.
