AC was broken and staff was very rude when I informed her if it. She had no empathy and provided no apology or offered any concessions.

Good location and nice property. Conveniently located to everything. However, the mandatory resort fee was more expensive than most and the parking fee was $65 per night. Otherwise, we had a nice stay. Good and spacious rooms. Lots of loud noise coming from Twin Fin hotels hydraulic machine. Could not enjoy the balcony because of it.

This was a family vacation with our two young adult daughters. Loved the location-close to everything and hotel staff were always great-changing our second room from a king to a double to accommodate our girls.. Room was ocean view king and we were very happy. Very clean, with good storage space and a large bathroom. Our room 2267 only had a shower and no tub but our other room 3057 did have a tub/shower combo. We used the adult pool in the afternoon where service and food were excellent. FYI: The sun doesn't really reach this pool until about 10:30 am. We liked that they had an ice machine and free water station available. We really liked the chairs and boogey boards that came as part of the resort fee. We rented an umbrella and cooler and took ourselves to other beaches outside of Waikiki that are much less crowded (Waimanalo) and had a great time. We did not eat at any of the hotel restaurants other than poolside. We loved having the ABC stores right there to purchase breakfast items-which we stored in the mini fridge. This helped to keep some costs down, Valet was always quick when we needed. Our only criticism: They are doing balcony restoration which did not affect eithr of our rooms until a windy day. When the wind picks up it smacks the cables against the building all night and was quite loud and annoying with no way to remedy it. The resort is large and bustling, but we never felt overcrowded. We would stay her again.

Electrical malfunctions and outages put a damper on my experience

Was such a fantastic stay, I loved the gym and the adult pool, Jim the bartender was amazing, Chad was great too, I would love to come back but I wish breakfast was included like the embassy suits.

Loved the atmosphere and staff

Loved this hotel it’s my second time staying here and the staff is always so friendly and the amenities are great. I love the adult pool and bar I was there every night. The rooms are so clean and comfortable. Staying here again when I return.

1. The hotel is undergoing renovation. Several impacts. Tired is the kindest way of describing the hotel. Lots of noise from 9am to 4pm as they are renovating the outside. Drilling that you cannot sleep through. Some balconies you cannot access 2. The Marriott adds a per room per night resort fee on top of what you’ve already paid. This “Resort fee” covers pool towels and Hawaiian necklace making. Big Whoop. It’s compulsory not optional, you can’t check in without paying it. When we complained about the building noise they waved it Marriott staff have forgotten what good American service looks like. They go the minimum mile, not the extra mile. Knowing what I know now, I would have stayed elsewhere. There’s plenty of choice in Wakiki

Probably one of the best spots on the strip, close to pretty much everything you need. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. We got a beautiful upgraded room directly facing the beach, made my daughter's birthday that much more special 💕

There was loud music playing at night from the tiki lounge across the street every night. This is also promoted as a resort and there was nothing resort about it…like a flower, or a water, or a chocolate or coffee in the lobby? It’s a regular hotel. The coffee in The room is gross. We weren’t informed about any of the amenities or where anything is located such as the pool. Would have also been extremely helpful to be informed that there was a place to purchase water and other items on the bottom floor (ABC market). Self parking was always full.

Staff were all great. Helpful, smiling and just overall very friendly.

It's at a perfect location for exploring Waikiki.

The hotel was so close to the beach, had a fun pool, good restaurants and was in a perfect spot for walking around. The room was comfy and we always came back to a neat and tidy room. We did lots of island exploring and getting the car in and out of valet parking was easy.
