This hotel felt outdated. Dirty rooms and the housekeeping would come way to late in the day. We would be gone all day and expect to come back to clean room but that wasnt the case. There is no parking. We rented a car and I spent $60/day for valet parking for 6 days. There is no room service to order food making it inconvenient because we had to go out with a 1 yr old late at night to get dinner.

My opinion, the new management has not maintained a quality hotel, and does not have the clients best interest when it comes to accommodating their guests as best as possible. I’m most likely not returning to the Twin Fin.

Loved the cabanas by the pool, free use of paddle boards, and the incredible views.

I had hoped to being in an ocean view room with a balcony that I would be able to hear the ocean from my room, for the first two days this was not possible. We arrived on July 3rd and they had wicked playing on a giant screen and blaring so loud I could hear what song they were on from inside my room with the door closed. Even being on the 15floor, you can hear every single motorcycle, emergency vehicle, loud speakers so holiday weekend traffic was also preventing any sleep. The pillows squished to nothing once you lay on them and if you fold it in half its hard and uncomfortable. The king size bed was comfortable. Staying here just reassured me that I never want to stay in the city again. I need sleep after a full day of travel and I was suffering. The view is amazing but I didn't get to hear the ocean until Monday morning when I was leaving. Seriously this is a very busy corner in a very busy area and the restaurants on site are not in the discount you received with your check in. Oh and they have to repeat a few paragraphs of information to each guest, this is a non smoking establishment & such so that we were waiting in line for over 40 minutes to get our card keys. The reception desk is not indoors and if you are already hot, the breeze may not be enough. This particular weekend there were a lot of kids in the pool with squirting pool toys so that did not seem relaxing or enjoyable. The fireworks were amazing but the street noise that lasts until 2 am was too much for me

Best hotel ever staff are super nice. Rooms are super clean. And you feel safe. The location is perfect walking distance to everything even the beach.

i would not recommend this hotel. although the valet was probably the best service of the whole hotel and we interacted with them everyday so because of them, i’m giving 2 stars. the reception is so slow!!!! my husband waited 30+ min for towels for the pool because no one does their job and restocks them throughout the day. also, the elevator system is the most ridiculous frustrating thing i have ever experienced. the numbers are on the outside and it tells you what elevator and sometimes it takes 10 min for the elevator to arrive. super inefficient. cherry on top? pillows suck and the fire alarm went off at 230am and i had a full blown panic attack with my 9 month old in my arms evacuating the building. i guess ill end with a positive. the view is pretty amazing and worth the $$ and location is pretty good but its at the end of the block. the restaurant goofys diner has good pancakes. it wasn’t the best hotel and i would never stay again. but i am grateful for the valet being so kind and efficient everyday!

Run down and in need of a major renovation. Only vacuumed our room and the hallways 1 time in the 10 days we were there.

Kudos to Fernando in reception who went above and beyond to get us a better room.

Only good thing at this hotel was the location. But the hotel itself is run down, outdated, and rude front desk workers.

After I complained, they moved me to a higher floor, but it was a side room with no front ocean view. Despite not receiving the room category I paid for, they did not offer any refund or compensation. Overall, the stay was okay, but for the price they charge, I expected much better attention to basic maintenance and cleanliness. I understand that Hawaii is an island and buildings may be older, but the bathroom looked outdated and not very clean. It felt like it hadn’t been renovated in decades, and there were noticeable yellow stains on the bathroom and it looked from 1950th. The room also had a coffee machine, but I couldn’t use it because it was dirty and dusty inside. The in-room safe was also old, dirty, difficult to operate, and in a very poor condition. For the amount they charge, I expected a much better experience. Small details like cleanliness, properly maintained amenities, and delivering the room that was booked should be standard.

The hotel is in a great location - at the quieter end of Waikiki, but still has plenty of action !!!!! The pool was a nice retreat from the glorious beach that is just across the street !!! The hotel itself is older and basic but still good !!!!

WARNING STAI AWAY FROM THIS PAICE.

Be very careful when booking an "Ocean View" room. Nothing like the photo they use to advertise it. My room on level 5 had an expansive view of the dirty roof of the podium level of the building. Any "ocean view" was totally dominated by this awful viewpoint and even then was massively obscured by the trees in between my room and the ocean. Definitely not what was advertised and what I paid for. When I went down to complain and request change of rooms, the disinterested staff member said there was nothing he could do and for me to come back at 6:30am the next morning to speak to the manager. I did so and all he offered was refund of resort fee. Follow up request for partial refund of room rate via Expedia was denied. Really ruined what was supposed to be a "spoil myself" end to my otherwise great USA/Canada holiday. This room should never be sold as "ocean view". Partial at best. Filthy view is more accurate.
