Love this hotel and how nice everything was. I would definitely book again!

It was nice for our trip clean

The hotel and property itself was very nice. We booked the smallest room possible and it needed updating for sure.

Based off of the photos on the app, I chose my room because it said Ocean view. I spend $1300 for this room when I got there and went to the balcony. All I seen was a big rock and you had to look through the bushes in order to actually see the ocean, which was just a snippet of the ocean when I walked in the room, I was very disappointed. It was something more of a motel six there was no coffee maker. There was no closet door. There were just some shelves that was a small rack to hang your clothes, which everything was just out in the open and it made the room look very junkie the bathroom soap dispensers, and the body wash. I was afraid to use it because anyone could have access to them because the top was so easy to open. There was no the core about the bathroom at all. It was plain white and very dry looking overall, the whole room was old. It looked like something from the 1980s if you’re spending this much money for a room I expect to have some type of color some type of decor a coffee maker, but that was a hot. I guess water tea, kettle or something, but there was no tea. There was no coffee there was no cups. I called downstairs and spoke to the MOD on duty. Explain to her how I felt about my view and I was very upset about spending $1300. She offered to credit me back $250 for I believe housekeeping fee or resort fee or something like that. That was nice of her, but if you’re looking for an ocean view, . I was there for four nights. Unsatisfied.

Location to beach, restaurants and shopping. Too many dogs at the hotel. Hallway smelled like dogs and would see droppings by elevator lobbies and other dogs barking at each other.

Although a little older, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The only downside was the street noise. We were on the 19th floor and could easily hear the traffic from the street, if we were on the balcony, we could hear conversations from other balconies/the pool. Staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and respectful. Would definitely stay again!

Clean but not enough parking

Unfortunately my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer 1 month before my scheduled stay. Expedia were amazing and allowed me to proceed with a refund due to the terrible circumstances and wrote on my behalf to ask this hotel if they would permit a refund or allow me to reschedule my stay. They said NO! I lost £1500. I could have gone back within 12 months as American Airlines allowed me to reschedule but this lot saw an opportunity to capitalise. Thanks for nothing!

The property was in close proximity to many shops, restaurants, and a 2-minute walk from beautiful Waikiki beach. The restaurants located inside the Queen Kapiolani were absolutely amazing. The staff was top-notch!!

Really helpful (our flight was early in the morning. They allowed us to use the facilities while our bags were stored until the room was ready. We were very grateful for this. Nothing

Great walking distance to everything!! The restaurant and coffee bar here is also so good!! I think the property itself is great but everything involved an upgrade and paying more. I requested a good view and a higher floor for my bday and first time in Hawaii and I got a high-ish floor (the 5th out of 18+ floors) with a view of other buildings. To upgrade it costs extra per night. To check in early it costs extra too, plus some of the staff here are rude.

From check in the staff was horrible. Rude and not welcoming at all. We did have an issue with how Expedia split our two rooms and in stead of being helpful or understanding they were so rude and jumped down our throats when we were just trying to understand the issue. We got that resolved and were hoping the rest of the stay would be great and it just wasn’t. No staff was nice in the hotel at all. The cafe staff was horrible and front office staff and bellhop staff were rude and very inattentive. The rooms were nothing special. Bathroom felt dirty, the drains always were clogged the whole time in the showers. One of the worst places we have stayed. Wish it was different cause we spent 9 days there.
