Aqua Palms Waikiki

It’s a really good hotel been staying here the past trips I came

Good area. Close to a lot of places.

I think that the Aqua Palms is a "sleeper" in the grass.By that I mean-Parking was always available when coming back late at night.Egress from the hotel was easy with light to no traffic most of the time.Being that the hotel is on the "edge"of waikiki,it was easy to get to the freeways and shopping centers.

Bed was comfortable. Room was above expectations for the price in terms of size, on par with big name chain hotels. Saw one pillbug crawling into the room through the doorway. Otherwise no complaints on cleanliness. The staff was adequately friendly and professional. Like all the reviews state, the elevator is old and anxiety-inducing. It never failed on me, but the floor readout panel bugs out every time and it seems to take an unusually long amount of time for the elevator to level off at floor level. The foyer/coffee/wardrobe portion of the room was quite dark. There may have been a light switch I missed that was not immediately obvious. There is no obvious drop off/pick up spot for the hotel. There are several ominous NO PARKING/STOPPING AT ANY TIME signs posted along the street at the front of the hotel, and no access from the back. I ended up being dropped off in a parking lot behind the hotel and walking through the adjacent Ramada parking lot with my luggage to check in.

Bed and new updated room were very good

Our first night no air conditioning the power went out for 2 days the staff was not helpful kept luring about when the power would be back finally I demanded they move us to another hotel and that was an ordeal as the palms did not forward our information would never stay again horrible

It is a great location for the price and clean room. The staff is nice. parking is not ideal as you aren’t guaranteed a spot- first come first serve and you pay 35 dollars a day! The pool is small but family friendly.

The location is excellent—just across from the Hilton Hawaiian Village, within walking distance of the beach, Ala Moana Center, ABC Stores, and many restaurants and attractions. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including complimentary coffee available all day, a refillable water station, fresh towels provided daily, and complimentary newspapers. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Honolulu!

Tape water not as clean compare to the honilulu international airport hotel or best western hotel. I wish they catter water and chip or noddle snack ready in the room

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. The elevators were inadequate. VERY slow and often packed. Seems like it took a minute to open each time; If it was stopped on multiple floors, the trip was excruciating! One of the three was out of order but fixed within a reasonable time frame.
