Wish they had better pools!

It’s a great hotel with a Hawaiian feel and modern amenities.

We loved the amazing view, really clean everyday housekeeping was coming. Also loved the full kitchen saved some money and cooked few meals. Definitely will love to book again in the future at Ilikai for sure!

Perfect rooms for families. We cooked inside often. The staff was kind and friendly. The close walk to the lagoon was perfect especially on Friday for fireworks.

1) We had paid extra and booked an oceanfront suite but to our surprise when we arrived we were offered a room on the second floor and that was definitely not oceanfront. We paid almost $100/day extra to upgrade to a higher floor room. 2) They do not have an option for self parking, only valet. When we arrived, we had to park the car in the driveway to unload the luggage - the valet were busy managing other cars so we had nobody to direct or help us. So we parked the car in the driveway momentarily - in the 10 min it took us to unload and check in, the valet put a no parking ticket on our dashboard! When we saw that we apologized and tried to explain to the valet but one of those guys literally cursed us and started intimidating us. I was dialing 911 which made him calm down! Not a note you want to start your vacation on! 3) We complained to the front desk about the valet's behavior but they said that the parking is managed by an external agency and they could not do anything about it. My family was anyway intimidated by the valet's behavior so we decided to park our car at an external parking lot. 4) There was a power cut of nearly 6 hours during our stay! That messed up our dinner plans and sleep which made us miss our tour next day

Always a great stay here at the Ilikai with the family.

Hotel had a hidden fee for the room. Charged me an additional $75 per night for some service that I did not want to think about enough to remember. Elevators were always jam packed so it could take you 5-10 minutes to get to the lobby or your room. Other than those issues the hotel was clean and neat

I like the fact there’s a full kitchen in the room. That helps with having more money in you pocket to enjoy your trip there. Meaning you can cook your own meals rather than coming out of pocket a lot . It’s a good place to be at if you want to be in the middle of it all.

It was beautiful! Room was nice. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The property was well maintained and cared for. Check in was quick and our room was ready early. I did have to go back downstairs to ask for our daily ice cream and water vouchers. If you need a luggage cart, you can ask for assistance at the desk and a bellman will bring it out to you or up to your room. The suites are well equipped with kitchen appliances (blender, microwave, stove, toaster) and plates, silverware, etc. Bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, body soap and lotion as well as a hair dryer. We had a partial ocean view which included a large balcony with two chairs and table and a beautiful view of the harbor and partial ocean view. We did rent a car for several days and the parking is $45 per night. It is good to also note, that upon checking in you will be charged a $250 incidental deposit, which is refunded after checking out. The pool staff can be a little too strict at times, and the pool towel sign out and return needs revamped; they give you a card you are supposed to return to them with your towels to get credit so you are not charged and you cannot take them out of the pool area even if you are going to the other pool. It would make more sense to include the pool towels in your room with your other towels. We had an amazing vacation; we had zero issues with safety or cleanliness and would be happy to return again. * We booked our package directly though Expedia with Ilikai Hotel and Luxury Suites and DID NOT use a vacation rental for our stay. *

Location was great Room bed was not comfortable, roach in the kitchen, no evening room house keeping for supplies had to go back down stairs Management stated submitted credit however I have not received adding photos

Great views of the ocean. Walking distance to the beach and lagoon. Beautiful lobby area. Exterior looks dated.
