I wouldn’t recommend the restaurants, I had a bad experience in one that the management had to resolve, and when I tried to revisit I found the staff (different staff) incredibly rude. I got the impression that service level very much depends on the tip. To be specific about one of the incidents, the restaurant staff were yelling at everyone threatening to have us arrested for watching a 5 min firework display on the packed beach for 4th July a little too close to the diners for their satisfaction. The restaurant staff don’t own the beach and their yelling made the restaurant patrons feel very embarrassed. The resort is so big that you will just feel like a number not a valued guest, but it was a very nice hotel and I would stay there again, I’d just avoid the restaurants as there are other nice places to go where you will feel more welcomed

Cons: -The beach is a public beach. That means you’ll see occasional homeless people. -Beach chairs are $100 per day for the first row (in 2026). -Food is very expensive! -Shower curtain was molded where the magnets are. Overall, We had a great experience!

位置非常好但建築太老了。

My room was great. The hotel inside and out is beautiful. The bar had terrible food and not so great drinks. We ended up just drinking the Hawaiian beer on tap and that was good. Nobody ever came to take my drink order while at the pool and I had to go to the bar to get our drinks. The worst thing about the hotel was the coffee and waiting in lines to get a bad cup of coffee. I feel a luxury hotel should offer coffee free in the lobby to their guests. I never felt that having the pink wristband offered me anything. I understand there are lots of people wandering through the lobby and hotel grounds and the hotel doesn't want to offer free coffee to people not staying at the hotel. Why give us the pink hotel bands? Oh, I know, that's for the honor of reserving an umbrella with chaise on the beach. However, to reserve an umbrella with chaise, I must stand in a line. Just like the coffee. This is a beautiful place and I love old hotels but this is not luxury when I must be in line by 7am to reserve a chaise or get a cup of coffee. People who stay in luxury hotels DO NOT want this kind of experience.

Beautiful hotel and kind staff! Beach and pool get super crowded, so make sure you get out there early to secure a spot.

We had an incredible stay at the Mailani Tower! The ocean view from the room was amazing. The drive up to the hotel is breathtaking and really makes you feel live you've arrived in a secret jungle. The RH is such a well-maintained and beautiful historic property. Close to busy areas of Waikiki, but as soon as you get to the hotel, it's so peaceful and lush. All hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks on property were amazing as were the spa services.
