Staff are among the friendliest I have ever encountered. Can't wait to get back and enjoy the new Outrigger.

Great location

Only small things I could think of that could make it even better would be dressing gowns, handwash at the sink and some more drawers. I was on my own so fine for me but 2 people would struggle with lack of storage space if there for prolonged period.. but overall amazing experience. Pool loungers have a hood over them to shield sun/rain (if any!!). Dukes bar amazing views over beach and Diamond Head. Enjoyed several meals and cocktails there. Would thoroughly recommend hotel!

Absolutely excellent hotel directly on Waikiki Beach. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent restaurants and a wry nice room. Highly recommend this resort!!

Superb

Place was going under some type of construction which took away from the experience. Also the elevator carpets were filthy. Staff were great, food was good, limited but good. No microwave in rooms which kind of sucked. Rooms were very clean and had a great view of the ocean. Other than that, our experience was nice.

Centralized to everything, beach steps away
-
There was no mention of the construction and renovations that are currently underway at the hotel. Our room was great but there were construction workers everywhere, one of the elevators was closed, the parking was limited (we had a scooter), and there was no credit or mention of the construction prior to our arrival. This hotel is one of our favs, and we’ve stayed here before on many occasions. But had I known we would have gone next door to the Monoa Surfrider.

We did not know the hotel was under construction. It’s in a great location, close to everything, staff was nice and attentive.
-
The location, the newly rennovated rooms The initial room given was old and dark and on a low floor. The renovation work disruption wasn’t good
-
The staff was very helpful. Our room was cleaned well every day. The resort is undergoing a major project but everything was up to par. Food was good at Hula Grill and Dukes (bar and grill area).

Great location and cool vibes. Our partial oceanfront room was just ok though, a bit dated and something yucky on the edge of the dresser. We enjoyed Sheraton Waikiki much more.

Hotel: We didn't like being woken up at 9am by housekeeping to ask if she could clean the room. One day we were almost ready to leave when she knocked at 9am and asked if she could clean the room. I said we'll be out in a minute. She came right in with vacuum and cleaning bucket and went back to cart for more supplies, we hadn't left the room yet. That was so RUDE. My daughter was still getting ready. We've stayed here every year for years. Housekeeping would wait until we left and then went into the room to clean. They never woke us up. They were also renovating all over the hotel. Noise would start as early as 6:30am right above us, drilling and a lot of knocking and tapping; I always thought someone was at the door. Otherwise, our newly renovated room was beautiful and always clean. Eating at Duke's was also very good. Staff on the 1st floor were always very nice and check in was quick and easy.

Rooms have been newly renewed, with the bathroom merged into the space to create a sense of openness while removing privacy during preparation. Imagine sharing a room with a friend of the opposite sex, a family member, or a stepson or daughter, where no one has privacy while dressing. The shower soaps are fragile and fall during use; water pressure is low; and there is no separate light for the toilet, so using it requires lighting the entire room because no partition or dedicated bathroom light exists. Additionally, hallway light leaks through the gap between the door and frame. As a further issue, we were charged a resort fee on top of a hotel under construction—rather than being offered a discount for the inconvenience.

The location was great food experience excellent I wish that they would have informed us of the ongoing renovation that's why I gave a lesser score on that

Hotel under renovation, lots of noise. No gym available.
