This hotel is just great. I recommend to book the seaview rooms in upper floors, you will get the full view ocean and diamond head view. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfy and my little one had the best time in the hotel pool while we were sipping Happy Hour Margaritas :) I especially want to thank Kristina from reception as she went the extra mile to enable late check out for us, which made the last day so much more enjoyable for us. Thank you!

The location is probably one of the biggest highlights. You’re incredibly close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and so much of what Waikiki has to offer. It made getting around throughout our trip extremely convenient. My biggest surprise was the daily valet parking fee, which can add up considerably over a multi-day stay. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the bathroom design. The space felt tight, and I personally prefer a traditional bathroom door that provides a little more privacy. Aside from those things, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable, checkout was incredibly easy, and the hotel served us really well for this trip. I would absolutely consider staying here again on a future visit to Waikiki.

We had an incredible stay at the Beachcomber. Only 5 short days for this trip, but the hotel was beautiful, the staff were all helpful and friendly, and it’s a great location. We had a very nice view of the beach and the sunrise every day. Would definitely stay here again!

Reception is quite chaotic with only some guests following the queueing system and staff too polite to challenge it. Lifts are slow, particularly when only 3 out of 5 are working and there are up to 25 floors to stop at. The cultural activities included as part of the resort fee are good and a nice opportunity to meet people who live on the island and understand its history. The pool is small but sufficent with towels and sun cream provided. Neither the pool or balcony are peaceful given the construction, traffic and generator noise from the buildings below. The pathway to the beach is opposite the hotel making it a good location for going to the beach. This hotel does not provide beach chairs, umberellas or body boards which nearby hotels do offer, which is a shame as it supports sustainability rather than purchasing new just for them to be discarded. It was a nice stay but could have been better

The housekeeping service deserves particular recognition. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and everything was consistently fresh, organized, and beautifully maintained. The housekeeping team’s attention to detail was truly impressive and made our stay feel comfortable and effortless. The hotel’s location is also perfect—right in the heart of Waikiki, within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shops, and everything else we wanted to enjoy. Despite being in such a lively and convenient area, the hotel still felt relaxing and welcoming. We loved the atmosphere, the room, the service, and the overall experience. This was our first stay at an Outrigger property, and it definitely will not be our last. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

Amazing experience. Exceptional view from the lanai. Convenient to shops, food and the beach. The staff did a wonderful job maintaining our room daily!!! Would highly recommend!!!

This hotel is just great for a stay in Waikiki. You get the great views, a minutes walk to the beach and all the comfort without needing to pay the price for the beach line hotels. We enjoyed the spacious room with ocean view and the super comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the café onsite is great and gives you Hawaii vibes. I was missing a shower in the pool area, but this is just a minor thing.
