The room was clean for the most part except finding a stain on the bed sheet and being greeted by a huge roach that came out the bathroom. The stay was average for the most part. The staff were friendly!

DISLIKED- I don't believe the $30 daily resort fee was appropriate: Complimentary water, slushy, etc. on a tight schedule, not available 24/7. Cleaning schedule awkward, every 4th day I believe. They do respond quickly to requests though.

Loved it. Small cute boutique hotel right in the heart of things. May need a little tlc in some areas but adds to the charm. 5 minute walk to malls and abc store that serves hot food take out all day. About 6 minutes yo waikiki trolley that takes you to various places. We stayed 6 nights. 1 night there was music playing by the pool but all quiet by 8:30. Room had microwave, kettle and fridge which were OK. Fridge seemed to freeze a few things but all good. Water machine with ice very handy!Had a couple of cockroaches which were dealt with as soon as we reported, so no worries and to be expected with the tropical climate. Balcony was great for privacy but as it overlooked the pool you felt a part of the hotel vibe.Really economical compared to hotels nearby with a very cool vibe. We would stay there again.

Hotel did a quick hotel renovation holes in likely asbestos popcorn ceiling, shaved all doors with locks that were too loose or too difficult to lock easily gaps indoors— pool room was on side with AC unit view. Most importantly there was drug use in front of the hotel where you valet your car… lack of staff had one member bartending, checking in guests, and valet car. When calling or asking for a manager front staff did not know who that was? The hotel has been very non-responsive since July 15 when we had to check out the next morning and switch our stay to another location….

I loved everything about this hotel!!

The room was poorly maintained. When we arrived, the bathroom shower curtain smelled horrible and was visibly dirty, making it seem like it hadn't been properly cleaned. The hotel also played loud music until around 1:00 a.m., and the noise from the music, along with people yelling and talking outside, made it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. The surrounding area also had a noticeable homeless population, which is something guests should be aware of when booking. On top of that, the hotel charges a $30 daily amenities fee, but only clean the room every other day andthe pool and hot tub are very small, and the water did not appear clean. Overall, this stay did not meet my expectations. Between the lack of cleanliness, excessive noise, and additional fees, I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

The singers they had at the poolside was nice. The food is average. This was OK all the way around... the singers were the best thing.

Checking in to the hotel was a smooth process and the staff was very helpful! The room was very clean. The bar staff was kind and the drinks were amazing! Poolside is perfect to sit during the day and the hotel is perfectly placed by the international Waikiki market to roam around during the day and nighttime.

Our 1-week stay was comfortable. Once inside the property and room, all looks and feels good. The bar with swing chairs is a highlight and their food is really great. Same pricing as most restaurants. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Location is really great being so close to International Market. What is unfortunate is that the actual block the hotel is on is not the greatest. Parking is a pay in the butt, even with Valet service. There never seems to be a spot when you need it. And the bar that is located next door really creates an unsafe feeling at night. It's an old dive looking place with questionable characters and it smells like urine right outside. That is no fault of the hotel but important to mention for those who might have an issue with that. Overall we were happy with our stay!

The hotel was ok . It could have been cleaned better. The staff was excellent top tier.
-
Great place to go close to all the shops and malls right next to the international mall. Our two bed room was clean and spacious. All the staff was very kind. Only problem is that we where there for 5 day and our room was only cleaned once and was supposed to get 2 said by staff and the one time they came they did give us more towels but did not empty our garbage can nor refill our shampoo so I would say paying a 35$ fee for 5 days isn't worth it but would highly recommend coming again!

I like only one thing is location in the heart of Waikīkī.

Bar is very unique

Loved our stay.
-
we paid an additional $250 when we got there for amenity fees (that we werent aware of) and an additional $300 on parking. there is only valet parking at this hotel so i suggest not renting a car or booking another hotel if you do not want to spend so much money.

First and foremost the front desk staff during my stay were absolutely amazing! Jess and Sean need specific recognition for quickly making me feel like Ohana. I arrived for check-in while they were experiencing operational challenges with internet connectivity. The issue, which was beyond their control, created a back-up of customers, but they remained calm while managing the situation and guests like champs! They continued to help customers as best as possible while waiting for the system to come back online. They deserve recognition and accolades for their professional demeanor throughout the ordeal, which would have tested even the most seasoned of customer service representatives. I truly appreciated their positive attitude and empathy under those conditions, which still made for a pleasant start to my Hawaiian holiday. They continued with their friendliness and positive outlook throughout my stay which truly exemplified the Aloha spirit. For Jess and Sean alone I would stay at the White Sands hotel just to visit and talk story with them, but beyond their courteous and friendly staff, the hotel has a cool speakeasy and fun poolside bar with reasonably priced drinks for the center of Waikiki. The rooms were spacious, relatively comfortable, with satisfactory amenities. It's not a high-end retreat, but has everything you need for a hotel stay that is centrally located in Waikiki...the point is not to stay in your room but enjoy the Aina! Mahalo Jess and Sean! Mucho Aloha

Great vibes in the heart of waikiki without the overwhelming feeling of too many people :)

This hotel was excellent!! My main need for a hotel is for sleeping, so if it has cold a/c, I’m pleased. The amenity I look forward to the most is the hot tub!! I was bummed it was not working most of our stay. It’s out of their control for a part to go out and then have the new part be delayed to come in and it didn’t ruin our stay. They provide tea, water, and slushies everyday. They’re delicious! They also provide beach chairs and boogie boards to use. It’s a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping! We had a room on the first floor with a back patio and poolside. I would stay again! We stayed 6/28-7/3/2026.
