This hotel was excellent!! My main need for a hotel is for sleeping, so if it has cold a/c, I’m pleased. The amenity I look forward to the most is the hot tub!! I was bummed it was not working most of our stay. It’s out of their control for a part to go out and then have the new part be delayed to come in and it didn’t ruin our stay. They provide tea, water, and slushies everyday. They’re delicious! They also provide beach chairs and boogie boards to use. It’s a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping! We had a room on the first floor with a back patio and poolside. I would stay again! We stayed 6/28-7/3/2026.

Quick and easy check in

Room dirty, shower had hair on the walls, dust filled the AC unit, rugs dirty didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot. Found old food on the floor. Not clean at all. Good thing it was only one night.

Quick and easy stay.

The best part was the staff. Incredible hospitality and customer service. Excellent prices, awesome pool, pool bar, restaurant poolside, koi pond, hot tub, ice tea, orange water, slushies for happy hour, happy hour special pricing and coffee bar. Awesome! They keep your bags after you check out so you can go to the beach if you have a late flight.

Lastly there were a lot of kids playing in the pool which is fine, but this is went on pretty late into the night with no let up so lots of screaming and shouting. If you’re looking for somewhat quiet this might not be the best.

Location is great. The reception folks were so polite and friendly. We really appreciated a chance to rent (for free) the sun chairs and small surf boards to go to the beach. The bar is nice Paid valet parking. We stayed for 4 nights and nobody came to clean the room (even when we asked). The interior design of the room is very outdated, needs refurbishment. The sound isolation is so bad, that i could clearly hear how neighbours were talking. Bathroom needs renovation as well. On pictures it looks much better. There is no elevator (in case you have heavy luggage)

Clean room but outside is everything shabby and unkempt.

Great location and such a cool vibe the hotel had. There is a great bar with a fantastic happy hour. We loved our stay. Easy to walk to anywhere you want too in Waikiki. The floor in the room was filthy I wipe it with a face washer and it was black.

I will definitely go back soon! This was a really beautiful experience for my newborn and my family

Bar staff are no friendly...worse service in Waikiki

The staff were very nice and welcoming. Absolutely loved my stay. One of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at. The swings at the bar were my favorite! Will ce back again just for the hotel! ☺️

EVERYTHING? A very unique and awesome property.

White Sands is my favorite place to stay in Waikiki. It's walking distance from everything, the ambiance is amazing and the Hey Day is great. Happy hour from 12-6 pm and the bar tenders are awesome.

Maygan,the receptionist, was phenomenal! Super hospitable, positive vibes and made our trip an amazing experience! Maygan deserves all the praise and recognition for the excellent service she provides. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I will be a returning guest. Mahalo!
