Westcliff Lodge

The room was clean and comfortable. The setting of the property is on the Columbia river. Beautiful views but hands down the best part of Wisecliff is the gardens. Just gorgeous. It was such a treat to be there. I wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

We would still go back but we would make sure we got the uostairs kitchenette room.

I don't normally share "negatives" as they are usually subjective. That said, they have many, many options for WiFi and none of them were stable enough for a phone or computer connection. My cell service had only one bar and the internet access was intermittent at best. If you are intending to work or stream, this may not be the stay for you.

Property was nicer than expected overlooking the Columbia River.

The lush property is full of flowers, shrubs and beautiful trees. Very well maintained. There are several areas to sit outside and enjoy the views of the river, which often is filled with wind surfers. It is convenient to town which has many nice shops and a number of good restaurants. We think the best for dinnner (which is also reasonably priced) is Three Rivers. Riverside is also excellent. Bette's is fun for breakfast and there are many good casual, burger and pizza joints. Of course, watching the kite sailors and sail borders from the River Event Site is a treat.

Such a beautiful peaceful property!

Beautiful manicured property with outdoor garden areas, flowers and greenery, overlooking the river. Picnic tables and seating are available. A great place to go hang out and enjoy the view. This property has older sections and newer sections. We stayed in an older section, the room was small but it was clean and had a nice view of the riverside garden areas. Ample outdoor spaces, a must to take advantage of in good weather. We had the chance to see a room in a new section, very nice, room was large with a balcony overlooking the river. No dining on site, but the hotel next door has a nice restaurant with river views that we ate at several times.

Great location, affordable and friendly staff!

Beautiful setting. Gorgeous gardens overlooking the river. Room was clean, but slightly dated. Lighting in bathroom was dim and the shower was a tight squeeze. Overall the room met our needs and we enjoyed the view.
