The Hotel is by the Columbia River. The vibe and view is excellent. Easy parking, easy access to the town and freeway. Rating of 5.

Lovely place and perfect location for the wedding venue

It is a beautifully maintained facility with a georgeous view and beautiful flower gardens. We stayed in a room with a river view and the ceiling was solid beams with tongue in groove covering. Not a typical ceiling at all. It was wonderful. The history in the book in the room indicated the first building was built in 1909 and others have been added, by the owners over the years, the building we were in was added in 1990.

This place is fabulous! the view out back above the columbia river is gorgeous. the flowers and landscaping were also beautiful. Highly recommend. firepit appreciated.

Our room was large and comfortable, with lovely view right onto the river gorge. (But note, not all rooms are the same.) Grounds are beautifully landscaped. Front desk was friendly and helpful.

Loved the views of the River, the gardens were exceptionally beautiful both the area where lush green lawns met garden beds full of vibrant flowers and the trail winding through native vegetation & rocky outcrops where you could watch the sunset against an incredible view. All of this was on property. We stayed in the huge well equipped apartment 1st night-Thank you for coming to our rescue. Then in our River view room that we’d booked the 2nd which was a lovely roomy apartment with a balcony. Both were spotless & comfortable. We had a tasty take out from the walking distance Indian restaurant next door. The property is ideally located, by car, for exploring Mt Hood & the picturesque Hood River & its surrounding farmlands. The staff were very helpful. They took us in last minute when we’d messed up our itinerary then gave great tips for making the most of exploring the area. This place was good for the soul. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds are exquisite. The views up and down the river are stunning.

Nice Ada room.

Clean except the sink which needs painting. Convenient to the interstate the noise from which didn’t much carry to the building I was in closest to the water. Nice garden and good view. Didn’t serve breakfast which would have been okay if one could walk to a place. A bit pricey, more a ‘motor lodge’ than a hotel-like lodge, which could be semantics. More importance needs to be given to cleaning/painting and security.

Our room was facing the Columbia Gorge and we had a gorgeous view of the water and surrounding hills.
