Doubletree by Hilton Houston Hobby Airport

Front desk people were not so welcoming, both night and morning while I was there. I didn't feel like I was staying at a hilton. I didn't enjoy my stay.

It is close to Hobby Airport that was a plus but you could hear the airplanes since it was so close. The beds were very uncomfortable and they said they were queen beds but they were actually full-size beds. There were four of us and it was a tight fit since the beds were so small. It’s hard to fit two people on a small bed it’s more like for one person per bed. Also the hotel is very out dated. The staff was friendly but I didn’t like the fact they charged 19.99 for parking for the one day we stayed.

This place was great for the price! Upon arrival, I had a great time at the bar. Staff was friendly and receptive. Front desk staff explained everything in detail. Next morning had breakfast in the restaurant. It was great! You paid once, but ate as much as you wanted, and the food was excellent. Fresh fruit, waffles, bacon, eggs, juice: so many choices. If you don't get full, its your own fault. The store in the lobby made things even more easy to access. Didn't have to go far from the property. Did some lounging by the pool, the area was maintained very well. All the bathrooms on the lobby level were sparkling clean, I'm talking cleaner than a Buccee's gas station clean! Overall, it was a great place to stay. I would book here again. It's like 5 minutes from the airport.

The location is perfect for getting to. Hobby airport in the morning. The staff is excellent. Very helpful, friendly and caring. The room was not very cool. The air conditioning was not working properly. The breakfast buffet was $20 a person and was the same thing you get free at the Drury. 😳

I arrived on Thursday September 17. There were two ladies working the front desk, one woman African American and another woman of Hispanic or Asian descent. The Hispanic woman had horrible energy . She acted like she didn’t want to be bothered. No eye contact, extremely cold .

The hotel was just okay. Very old it could use an update. We did not take showers until we got to our destination because the tub was dirty. This was also mentioned in other reviews. It was decent for a nights sleep. If we have to come back to Houston we would not return to this hotel.

To pay for the parking was terrible should be free included Paying for parking
