The elevator was down most of the day and we had to climb 6 flights of stairs

All what have been great if I wasn’t told one thing only to find out it was untrue. I had asked about a late checkout. I expected a fee. I stay in hotels all the time and know usually there is a charge for a late checkout. But I was told 3 times there is no fee for a late checkout and also to sign up for a membership. I thought that was great. Even told my wife we will start staying here because of that. But this was a sham. I was charged $57 for a late checkout. It’s not about the money. It’s about being told one thing and then finding out that’s not true at all. I called of course and was told I would get a call back which I never did. So I called after a couple days and the lady said there is a fee for a late checkout. I said that’s fine but I asked the front clerk 3 times and he assured me there is no fee. Boy was I wrong. Of course I get a bill for $57. I will cancel my membership and not stay at any holiday express hotels ever again.

Then charged 100.00 for few minutes late check out.

Property was poorly kept- appeared dirty and things were broken.

Nice staff, accommodating. Parking was definitely a low point. We have a large truck and were unable to park on the lower level, and there were no available spaces on the upper level. Part of the parking area was also blocked off for upcoming work. We eventually had to park in a non-designated area and get up early the next morning to see if a regular parking space had opened up. It was very frustrating and inconvenient.

Smells so bad and I had a bad allergies first 2 days but I had to stay cause my freind has surgery and she wasn’t able to move they might change the carpet and glue smell very strong

The elevators weren't working, so we had to take the stairs; the air conditioning in the room didn't cool, and the service wasn't the best.

Rooms smelled the minute we walked in I had 2 rooms they smelled awful the AC unit was loud and cracked .. we barely were able to sleep all night .. the staff in the morning at breakfast bar were unfriendly and unprofessional totally beside I got charged more than what I was told I held it them when we got their we got charged different price than what I booked for what is going on with this I would like to have a refund for my stay or a complementry stay voucher it was not worth it this time

Visited in the beginning of July and the elevator was broke and it’s August and the elevator is still broke and the wait time for only one elevator is long and it’s hard to going down 5 flights of stairs with a lot of luggage.

The bed was snuggly and comfortable, with pillows galore — all super soft. I got a GREAT night’s sleep, which doesn’t always happen for me in a hotel! Check-in was quick and easy, parking was convenient, and the location was great with plenty of places nearby for food and drinks. Overall, just a really comfortable, easy stay. I’d absolutely stay here again!

It was fairly clean The elevators were broken, we continually had to go outside to use the stairs (dirty/dusty with spider webs through). We were afraid that if a fire broke out we would be trapped. The next day there were other guests stating that they are afraid that they would die in the event that a fire broke out. The room was hot even though we adjusted the air temperature to 68 it continued to remain 76 degrees. Every time we went to the lobby to speak with the staff member there were always a line.
