Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston Memorial

Room vas very clean. Staff very friendly. I arrived early than normal check in time and room was ready.

I would respectfully advise exercising caution regarding this establishment. During my stay as a paying guest, I experienced an unfortunate incident wherein unauthorized individuals gained access to our room, resulting in property damage and theft. When we brought these concerns to the management's attention, the response was regrettably dismissive, with the manager appearing to attribute responsibility to me rather than addressing the security breach. The receptionist appears to have played a significant role in facilitating this situation. I believe prospective guests deserve to be aware of these concerns before making their booking decisions.

The rooms were very clean and well kept. The amenities were great. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Nice hotel, clean, with friendly staff, rooms great but walls seemed pretty thin.

Superb

It was very clean and comfortable and the staff was amazing! The breakfast wasn’t that great

They pre-authorized the credit card multiple times during the 12-day stay, causing funds to be held; even now—on September 22, 2026, despite the reservation ending on September 16, 2026—I have been unable to release the blocked funds. Essentially, they placed holds on the card for amounts exceeding the cost of the accommodation. I asked the reception staff to check the card transactions, but it is clear they failed to do so. Even at check-out, they did not grasp that the amounts withdrawn and held on my credit card exceeded the cost of the stay. A sum of 5,165.99 RON (approximately 1,123 USD) remains blocked over and above the accommodation cost. It is unacceptable for me to effectively extend credit to the hotel in this amount. The funds were blocked on the card starting September 10, 2026, and today is September 22, 2026. Bottom line: do not provide a credit card; use a debit card instead.

Our stay was wonderful, staff was very attentive and helpful. Property was very clean and quiet. Loved the breakfast variety definitely will be coming back again!
