La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Energy Corridor

Nice place. Clean, quiet and I felt safe. Breakfast was ok; hard boiled eggs, sausages and bagels. I was there on business. It is close to where I needed to be. I'd stay here again.

Unfortunately, the check-in experience was a very different story. It took approximately 45 minutes. The woman at the front desk was working to resolve an issue for another guest, while the gentleman assisting me was unable to log into the system and was texting someone trying to obtain the correct password. Even after receiving it, he still could not get into the system. I completely understand that technical issues happen, and both employees were nice, but there was a noticeable lack of attentiveness and urgency considering I was standing there waiting to check in for nearly 45 minutes. The guest who arrived after me was at least asked to have a seat while they waited. There was also confusion regarding the pet fee. I was told by the gentleman that there was a $75 pet stay fee, when the actual fee was $25. That is a significant difference and something front desk staff should be able to communicate accurately. Overall, the room was spectacular and absolutely the highlight of the stay. With a smoother, more attentive check-in process and better familiarity with hotel policies, the experience could have been significantly better

Location for me, breakfast, room comfort. Staff Was in room 100 ground floor ,windows looked out over a road , I didn't feel safe there ,thin window pane between me and the outside. You need some bars put up . This is Houston!!

The room was clean Parking,the pillow were little and they sucked

The service is horrible , the guy that works morning shift is very rude. Don’t know customer service. It like he don’t want to be bother and very rude. the two ladies overnight very respectful, very helpful and professional. Housekeeping is very horrible. I stay 3 days and they never came I had to catch them in the hall way , they don’t speak English so it very hard to translate. My room refrigerator and the outlets didn’t work. Very horrible experience. The room smell is very horrible. I won’t recommend to book this hotel if you’re thinking you’re about to enjoy your stay vacation in Houston.

Would definitely not stay here again, Roaches and dead bugs everywhere in the room and there is as a weird smell through out the whole hotel. Cleaning staff was very helpful tho
