The staff are super friendly I asked for towels they brought me plenty. Issue is there is a bad smell when you enter rooms I don’t know why. The rooms are really clean if you ok with smell. Some hot water issues in early morning

The room was spotless, bright, and not outdated, and the toiletries in the room were generous and included lotion, bar soaps, shampoo, mouthwash, and toothbrushes. Even though I accidentally booked a smoking room (100% my fault), the smoke smell was very faint and did not bother me. The front desk guy was awesome too. I usually avoid motels with the doors facing the outside for safety reasons, but I didn't feel unsafe, see anyone loitering, or hear excessive noise from other guests. The exterior was also clean. I see how some reviews didn't like how the breakfast was coffee, juice, granola bars, and individually-wrapped muffins, but I felt that it was on par with the price I paid for the room. We are in Houston for sporting events pretty often, and we will not hesitate to stay here again. The bed was a little firm, and I had to use the clip on a pen to make the drapes stay closed all the way. Neither of these things put a damper on our stay. There is also only one way in/out, and it was off of a one-way highway. I imagine it would be a hassle to double back if you missed the way in/out. Like another review mentioned, though, it probably helps make it a bit safer. Highway noise doesn't bother me personally, but this is not the hotel to stay at if if bothers you.

The staff was somewhat polite but was not accommodating The way the set up was I was being watched at all times like I was in prison there was not hot water I had to leave and take a hot shower. There was no breakfast set out..

I come to Houston at least once a year and I’ll definitely be back. It’s close to the cousin I visit in town. My only complaint is the water temperature. It wasn’t as hot as I would have liked. My shower wasn’t unpleasant by any means but I would have liked hotter water
