Studio 6 Houston, TX - Westchase

The man at the front desk picked a fight with me on day one —and then threatened me later when they overcharged me. They double charged me for two nights refused to give me money back and then told me it was for a pet fee. I don’t know when a pet fee is the same amount as the hotel fee every night. This was a rip off. I tried seven times to get my money back and I’m still working on it. I would not stay here at alll it is trouble The guy needs anger management.. oh by the way when I asked for my money back, he threatened to call the police. Who I waited for. He was just threatening me. The police never came. I would’ve loved to talk to the police! In fact, I still might press charges. I’ve never been treated that awfully at any establishment and I’m old and stay at hotels all the time I’m a Hilton diamond member. I would rather stay there than to deal with this mess.

Expedia is working to get my Refund!! I think this place is into Scamming !! I need my Refund ASAP. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVER!@

Room could have been cleaner.

Clean comfy room.

To start off staff was very rude. Morning and evening shift. I don't know about anyone else but I shower at least 2 to 3 times a day. I was told that I wasn't allowed to exchange dirty towels for clean ones till the next morning at or after 7:30 am. The towel experience alone was not acceptable. There's junkies all around the place. It was juat an awful experience. Ģf

The couches in all of my rooms were very dirty, heavily used, and had a bad odor. They had multiple stains and appeared to be in poor condition. I wanted to bring this to your attention because the furniture did not seem properly cleaned or maintained.

Everything was good as expected for a a place like this, for the price. A bit of a rougher crowd, arguing in the hallways going on late at night. Nothing the hotel did wrong it’s just the others staying there.

I know the property was having some renovations but this was not a problem or interference for the guests.

Stayed here 2 years ago and it was great. But our recent trip was awful. No amenities. The first time we stayed there was breakfast and general hotel amenities like shampoos and soap. This trip no breakfast, no toiletries, and had to ask for toilet paper. The first night of our stay we didn't sleep much due to excessively noisy air conditioner unit and refrigerator and an unidentified source of other noise. Very noisy. Impossible to sleep. They moved us to a different room thankfully. Our second room had the smoke alarm go off at 4:30 - 5 AM Saturday while we slept. We thought the hotel was on fire. But no, it was only going off in our room and there was no smoke or anything. The person at the service desk was oblivious though the sound carried all the way up front and had to have woken up everyone in rooms near us. The clerk didn't care, so I had to pull and deactivate the alarm in our room. Not hard but it seems like something staff should be concerned about and would want to investigate in their own interest. There was no offer to accommodate our inconvenience at being woken up for more poorly maintained equipment in the hotel. Both rooms were infested with little flies, possibly fleas. It was gross. We only needed somewhere to sleep a few hours for 3 nights and we couldn't get that 2 of the 3 nights. No customer service. No toiletries. No way to sleep through the night. No reason to stay here ever again.
