Best Western Independence Kansas City

Room was clean. Breakfast was standard items. Staff was helpful. Restaurants within walking distance.

The check in girl was great hotel overall was good...however the carpet in the room was wet and upon taking a shower the bottom of the tube was black/brown do to my feet being dirty because of the floor. We had to wear sandals when on the carpet. The neighbors hood seemed to be good and safe.

Our first room we were in had a broken door lock. Called down to the front desk and they accommodated us by switching our room, which was nice. Our room was clean. The property was quiet. Breakfast was just alright—liked that there were two meat options (bacon and turkey sausage).

The property was clean and very easy to find. However, I actually did not stay here because I got the dates mixed up and they gave me a full refund once they worked through Booking.com The receptionist was very nice about getting me a refund due to me putting the wrong dates in she helped me and made it very easy for me

the location was lovely, staff were great, friendly, and efficient. check in & out was super fast. clean room, great accommodations, lighting was nice. i really liked that the room came stocked with lots of towels. breakfast was limited, but what they did have hot was pretty good. most things were just quick grab. the ac was COLD speaking of the ac, to change it was across the room so a little annoying but i won’t be lazy. shower water pressure wasn’t great. parking wasn’t amazing, but it would help if people didn’t park crooked- so no fault to the hotel on that i suppose. the biscuits weren’t changed i think and were kinda crummy- but we didn’t get to them until like 8:15.

Overall good stay for 1 night. Biggest complaint is that the parking lot is way too small for the size of the property. Breakfast was average, beds were comfy, staff was friendly.

One night stay. Great experience. Service was exceptional and room large and very clean. Also very quiet. Only downside, had to park across the street as no parking spaces available due to trucks and trailers taking up multiple car spaces.

Convenient location Hallways and rooms had either a pot smell or food smell. Wasn’t a big deal but would have been nice to have some kind of nice smell

Overall, nice place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were thick. Staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel was mostly well kept. There were a couple of things in our room that needed attention, but nothing major. The elevator made a lot of noise; staff put a funny sign in the elevator, but it still makes me wonder why it's so creaky and noisy.
