Stoney Creek Hotel Kansas City - Independence

Hotel and room were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is hotel breakfast. Quick, hot or cold, lots of it. I will consider staying again on my next visit to the KC area.

Facility is showing it's age. No water for over 4 hours on our 2nd day because of boiler issues-- No toilet flushes, No showers, nothing! No bill credit or restitution offered either. Water pressure the next morning was very poor as well. Gym was flooded and closed. Cute bar, but only open 4-10pm. So no nightcaps or weekend brunch mimosas. Very disappointing.

rooms could have been little cleaner wiped down walls and surfaces, couldn't use the balcony, the water was shot off for an hour or more in Friday the day we were charged over 420 dollars I would think we would get a discount plus for no balcony use...

Awesome hotel room! Awesome staff! Very nice hotel and bonus points because it was right next to a bass pro shops.

Love the location. Walking path is wonderful.

I’ve stayed at Stoney creek’s for years including this one. I am not sure what has happened but during my stay dogs in several rooms barking and very loudly also could smell was Marijuana. Very disappointed because this used to be a great place!

Took my daughter and a few of her friends for her birthday and we all had a blast. They really enjoyed the pool and breakfast.

Clean facility, breakfast was good. Bar on site. Staff helpful and friendly

This was one of the most amazing hotels I’ve stayed in. Now I will say the hot tub was a little small for the amount of people that sometimes wanted to be in it, but other than that, the staff is absolutely amazing. I even had the bartender she went above and beyond. She was awesome.

Great facility for overnight or several days as a retreat. Only negative was the breakfast. Just poor quality. Even the oatmeal had to be cooked in hot water. They can do better!

We have stayed there often. It has always been a quality place to stay. I don't have much to complain about. A few loose items like toilet seats or shades. Could use better quality tvs. More outlets. The breakfast is fine. Not appealing to me but for groups and families it works. I'd like to see them consider hpurchase. Breakfast items for purchace.

Room was clean but feel like lobby and area around elevators was dirty . Carpets looked dirty and light fixtures need dusting. Breakfast was average at best. We did enjoy the walking trail and it was a quiet peaceful area.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated, but clean. Great breakfast options.

Hotel was awesome. When we checked in our room was upgraded from a double queen to a king suite. And the pool and breakfast was great.
