From the outside, the hotel does not look special, but inside is great with marble everywhere. Very nice room with great shower + good breakfast.
-
There was no body soap in the bathroom, also a few dirty spots on the ceiling. But overall is something that can be easily fixed and would definitely stay again. Overall 8.5/10

Fantastic staff.great stay for us..tks

Hotel has a nice look to it but needs a deep clean and shining up of some of the hard to reach areas, in a so-so area that has some sketchy looking people walking around, was a good value hotel but wouldn’t bring kids back to it again, room was cramped to put up a pack and play for them

Not the best I would say.

There's an ant in the room

The staff was the best part of the experience very kind. There is all kinds of updating that needs done. The cloth furniture in lounge is filthy, mold in showers and dirty caulking around toilet. Door locks loose. Door stuck barely could get out of the room. Lights didn't work. Dirt, dust and other people's things behind table. Lots of potential as it does have new owners. Italian feel but wouldn't stay again.

It was a very delightful stay!

The Fontana has potential, but the building is really run down. The ceiling in my room was chipped and cracked from what looked to be water damage. There isn't much signage. In fact, the signs on Expedia's site must have been photoshopped. The staff was friendly, but seemed overworked. I'm allergic to feathers and the only person on staff couldn't find a pillow for me that wasn't feather-filled, so I had to go to Target and buy myself a pillow to sleep on! The building was not very clean as there were tissues, dental floss, and even a cherry amongst the detritus laying in the hallway. Both of the chairs in my room were covered in large crumbs. Glitter was obvious throughout my room, and one of the beds looked like the sheets had never been washed. Additionally, the continental breakfast seemed to just be coffee and prepackaged cereal cups.

Megan checked us in at the front desk. Megan was very attentive, personable, and very nice! I talked to Aliyah and she sent an engineer to our room. Corlis sprayed the room and asked if we wanted to stay in the room or move to another room. We decided to change rooms. Aliyah and Corlis were very prompt and professional in expediting the problem. My sister and I would certainly stay at the Fontana Hotel if ever we travel to Indianapolis again.

Hotel is clearly older, but well maintained & is affiliated with the Marriot next door, which is nice since they let you use the pool/hot tub area there. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, & the shower was huge with great water pressure. Would stay again if in area.

But more importantly everything was clean our room was very nice and I am super glad that we decided to stay here. The staff was amazingly nice! I would 100% recommend this hotel

Negatives- small ants found on the desk/counters in the bedroom, and the overall appearance from the outside could deter future guests from staying- which is a shame because it just needs a facelift. :)
-
very interesting look, rooms fine. When cleaning need more attention to.mold buildup corners showers.During breakfast needs better maintained Sunday staff needed help to maintain.
-
Very interesting hotel - all marble with a replica of the Trevi fountain inside. It had a sister hotel accessible by a walk thru that provided a full bar and restaurant to eat-in or to go and access to its amenities incl pool and exercise room!

The hotel could definitely use some work. I think the property owner recently bought the property as the sign you can see from the road is just covered with a tarp that names the hotel. The hotel itself is kind of strange and desolate, to be honest. I think it’s a Marriott property as it’s next to and connected to the Marriott next door. The room was clean but the ceiling was falling in one area. The water took a while to get warm. There is no pool. The best thing about it was the air conditioning.

The first room I was in had a floor covered in pet hair. When switched to another room, there was someone screaming and cursing in their room and it echoed through the hallway. Every single night was loud all night long. Slamming doors. People running. One night at midnight someone knocked on my door and ran away. Then I was woken up at 330am by more loud people. I had to call security. Parking is a ridiculous 10 bucks a day while the connecting hotel lot is free.

it was okay
