When I called in to see if I could add my sisters name and have her check in to the room, she got extremely aggravated and told me there was absolutely no way that was possible, threatened to cancel my reservation, and then at the very end told me there was a way to get her added and able to check in, I just had to fill out a form. The rooms are small and dingy looking, I expected a better stay honestly from the reviews, so I wanted to be honest about my stay.

Unfortunately nothing was likeable about this place. Woodspring suites Indianapolis Castleton was the worst place I've ever stayed! Two different rooms and the smell of boiled hotdogs was overpowering the whole stay. The pictures are not what the rooms look like, it wasn't dirty but the smell was awful. Be very aware of the smell in the rooms!

Didn’t get any sleep cuz all you can hear is people going in

We thought the place was really nice, It would have been nice if there were more cups (plastic) in the room then just 2. Especially since there was not a coffee maker.

The Location The fact I was called a liar and was told that this might be my last stay due to me letting staff know the toilet was dirty, or the room wasn’t cleaned n smelled like someone just lit a cigarette. Let’s be real I use to book w/them a lot who wants a dirty room smelling like cigarette’s and hot sweat w/a week or 2, spending their hard earned money. It’s ur job to accommodate/ make customers feel comfortable, not makes feel like they shouldn’t complain. It was ALOTT but I dealt with it. I just wanted what the site says CLEAN/COMFORTABLE. The manager is cool he will figure something out for you, but once he’s gone they(not all just the short old with the ankle biting dog) act like that’s there home in u interrupted there peace.

Ease of check-in and check-out Room quality, beds, barely-working microwave, elevator made questionable noises, minimal staff, and nothing was done about the initial complaint of the hole in the bathroom door when we first arrived. I had messaged the property on here and even mentioned it to one of the ladies at the front desk shortly after arrival, but nobody came to follow-up or fix/replace the door.

The location and the fact that people could not just walk in and out

This was the cleanest hotel we had ever stayed at. Only our room was moist. The cent in the bathroom was covered and dirty. My husband clean it hoping it would pull moisture out. It's helped but didn't fix it. Something with the water in the AC unit. We dealt with it only 4 days. But the unexpected random room check caught is off guard. Someone banging loudly on your door claiming to e front desk wanting the door open. It was scary. When we dodid open it he was ride and nasty. Ingrid to explain we didn't really know who he was demanding access. I learned they do random checks in their extended stays. Now we are grandparents so.....regardless there were so many ways he could have handled it professionally but instead he was a nasty nasty man. He scanned a code and left. So we will not return and no matter how clean it's not worth it.

Very good

Upon pulling into the parking lot there was a lot of people hanging/loitering around the property. People in their cars with trash bags over windows. As i checked in I immediately canceled the rest of the stay, the lady at the desk told me the manager will refund me- which so far I haven’t been. As i was in lobby noticed there a machine that said out of order and no inclination to a breakfast. There is no one at from desk all day(9am-10pm) so couldn’t even ask questions before I left my less than 12hr stay. You have to use your room key to get in every door and hallway. When i went to my car to get something else, people were just hanging smoking by the door. Trying to get situated in my room, i noticed how disgusting it was. Shower didn’t even look like it’d been cleaned in a long time.

Very bad experience staying at the hotel. Lots of smoking and noisy. Front desk staff are not helpful. Big No.!

Horrible nasty smells like smoke and a lot of people walking around at night not a safe area

The staff had a great attitude with having to work with all of the outdated equipment. The corporate office is aware of all their issues but choose not to fix them from what staff informed us. It took 28 minutes to check in at the front desk even with the booking.com reservation. The computer was acting up, the mouse was not working on the computer and the spare they had for this situation was not in its proper place. The printer was not working with the computer from what the desk clerk informed me. When taking payment the terminal kept timing out and I was almost double charged. Then I need to send the GM an email of the changes to my account because they were showing it was not charged. When making the reservation I informed that I was handicapped and this location was not very accommodating with the key card timing out to get in the building with a walker. The shower pressure was very low due to the shower head being clogged with rust & water hardened clogged shower head. Paint in the bathroom was pealing off and falling. The refrigerator was unbalanced and every time you would close the door everything inside would fall over and fall to the back right corner. We had broken shower rods. Chairs that were wore out and need replacing.

Walking in, there was a weird cleaner type smell. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Once in the hall/elevator waiting, it smelled like pot/vape/Indian food. The floors were kind of sticky. There were hairs in the sink and tub. Peeled off the paper thin worn out blankets and pillows and laid down my own blankets and pillows. The bed is a mattress on a metal cot and could feel bars but my blankets cushioned it okay. It was fine for a one night stay. Indy area traffic is pretty awful. It’s in an industrial area, there’s a mall nearby and basic restaurants. It is secured. Overall, the property appears cheaply remodeled, but maintained. Halls and parking well-lit. TV remote was weirdly about a foot long but worked. There’s a basic dated kitchen that was not touched so not sure what was included or not. Mini-mini soap and mini shampoo, towels are old & ratty (bring your own). Small investment / upgrades would go a long way. We had one queen bed room. The guests upstairs stomped around in the morning but mostly quiet stay. Definitely a budget place.

I’ll give a call horrible experience
-
They charge $21 to get clean towels
-
I guess the stove and fridge but I didn’t use them cause that would mean I would have to buy pots and pans but it was for only one night No iron or blow dryer, no ice machine (no one has time to wait for ice to freeze in the ice trays) no breakfast served for 230.00 a night you could at least serve breakfast. This hotel is for people who staying more than a few days. Yall charge too much and the mattress is hard as a rock.
-
No breakfast was served. If it had been I'd answer. No ice machine, only two pillows for two people staying four nights (wtf), and more were not available. 4$ for new bath towels.

Passable

Not a thing. Worst staff I’ve ever dealt with. And the place is a dump! One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Wish I could get a refund!
