The room is itself wasn’t thoroughly clean towels had stains on them. The toilet seat was dirty. The sink was dirty. The nightstands were dirty. It was stains on the sheets and the refrigerator was leaking water. They made the carpet soaking wet. The front desk was very helpful doing check-in but was very disappointed once I got to the room I stayed last year in 2025 and it wasn’t a problem at this location, but my last day was my last day at Baymont.

I wasn't impressed with the partial updates and the cleanliness. The faucet and tub dripped the whole time. The iron ruined a pair of pants.
-
Used wash rags were left in the bathroom. No towels.

The issues with the property are cleanliness and security. The main lobby seemed to be clean when we checked in around 9m, but the hallway and carpet on the 5th floor where we stayed was dirty and had a musty smell. The carpet in our room was the same, and while the beds and bedding looked clean from 5-7 feet away, the sheets and comforters were either not freshly washed or the hotels laundry facility for Housekeeping needs replaced or repaired. The biggest issue, though by far was turning back the comforter to find either bedbugs or a few random ticks or bugs in between the comforter and the sheets. Since the sheets they use are white, the bugs were easy to notice and guaranteed that my stay would be short and sleepless. I did shake out all of the bedding on both beds, and then remade the beds. I spent midnight until 7 AM sitting up in bed wrapped in my own comforter from home. The breakfast was average at best, about what I expected. I thought about complaining to management about the bugs, but being in a hurry and driving across the country with 2 kids, I decided not too. Needless to say, I won’t be back to this location.

Precious was amazing & so welcoming since we didn’t get into town till 1:30am. She’s an asset to this hotel. 💝 Our room however smelt like smoke & the bathtub needs to be refinished. I seriously didn’t care as I just wanted to sleep asap but my son was disgusted. Breakfast was great, dining area was clean & staff was friendly

Lobby is ok but room is not. Bath tub/shower is gross. Breakfast is ok and the kitchen crew is well mannered.

Our room was dirty. The floors were sticky and had dirt on them. The air conditioner was very loud and janky. The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful!
-
However, there was a strong odor of cigarettes and pot throughout the hallways and we had to switch rooms because our initial room had a saturated carpet, like they shampooed it but didn’t dry. It also had a strong smell of mildew. The room they switched us to was decent.

I came in town for a couple of days for a party and just to relax
-
The floors hadn't been vacuumed, nor mopped. Every surface was sticky. Hair in the shower. Food in the kitchenette sink. Stains on sheets. 10/10, would never stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay the hotel was clean and the housekeepers was really nice

Rust was coming out of the faucet in Jackson. It appeared as though there was a new water heater going in but it was still gross. Though it was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, you couldn't breathe in the elevator. The fire alarms went off. It smelled of weed.

Overall, my experience at the hotel was disappointing. The hallways had a strong smell of smoke, which was unpleasant. During the night, someone knocked on our door more than once, disturbing our rest. In addition, around 7:00 a.m., a very loud alarm went off, and we later found out that the hotel had lost power. The electricity was not restored until more than two hours later. I hope this feedback helps improve guest service, cleanliness, and hotel maintenance.
