Sweet older lady and a guy working front desk was so nice and helpful but that one girl was very rude did not care about cleaning the pool the flies was everywhere in the lobby the alarms went off twice Friday night I was so exhausted and not happy with my stay 😩😩 not to mention the kids running down the halls and nothing was done about it

I stayed at this hotel for four days. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was not good. There were flies all in the breakfast area. People could barely eat and upon checking out of the hotel we were my family was harassed. They accused one of my family members of taking their bed linen but it was their own bed line. It wasn’t the hotels they came running out the door blocking the car thinking we had their bed line when we didn’t. This is terrible. I don’t know if I’ll ever stay here again when I’m in Jackson they also charge my sister room $250 because it smelled like smoke in the room. No one was smoking in the room. The scent was still on her and her daughter and her son, but they wasn’t smoking inside of the room. The scent was just in the room so they took it upon themselves and took money out of her account because they thought that she was in the room smoking that is ridiculous. Everyone knows you can’t smoke in hotels now days but for them to just withdraw money out of her account that’s crazy only because the scent was in the room so y’all be mindful when you’re staying here.

Hotel was hot. Pool out of service. Staff seemed frustrated at check in

We had an excellent stay! The hotel exceeded our expectations. Everything was spotless, the room was very comfortable, and the entire property was well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options for everyone. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable place to stay.

When arriving to check in there was no one at the front desk. Another lady was already there waiting as well. We waited approximated 5-10 minutes and I kept saying HELLO?? Finally a young man came walking down the hallway, in no apparent hurry and goes behind the counter and says can I help you? This was a bit unprofessional and unusual for the Hampton Inn's normal courtesy and efficiency of service. Other than that experience it was pretty good. The room was very clean as was the dining area.

The air conditioner didn't work properly. The room stayed around 80 degrees all night. There was no shampoo in the container and only 1 tissue in the box. When I told the guy at the desk about these problems during checkout, he seemed uninterested and didn't say he was sorry or anything. We won't be staying at that location again.

First time I had visited Jackson. Interesting city with a variety of things to do for a 3 day visit. All of the people I met were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated down at the Mississippi showgrounds. It was a 15 minute walk up to the city centre (or a $7 dollar Uber). The room allocated was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast provided by the hotel was satisfactory. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and able to provide advice on local places to visit. I had booked the hotel specifically on the basis of the advertised outdoor pool. On arrival I was advised that the pool was closed for maintenance. In the 3 days at the hotel I didn’t see anyone working on the pool.☹️ The guest washing machine wasn’t working but the staff washed and dried my clothes for me. Many thanks.👍😊 If I was ever to return to Jackson I would stay at the hotel again. Many thanks.

The staff is rude. Very rude. You'll be charged another $50 for a security reason and you cannot decline to pay. I complained to expedia and the front desk hung up on the representative.

Very clean and specious, staff was really friendly! Convenient to highway and downtown.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It met my needs for a quick stop

For the most part, the staff was friendly and polite. The breakfast area and lobby were clean, well kept, and decorated for summer. However, the extremely soiled carpet noticeable throughout the hotel, the sketchy elevators, and the stained bedding diminish the impact of the staff's efforts. Employees and customers deserve a space that better reflects the quality, pride, and standards of the brand. This facility will be a last option for future stays.

I the proximity to the venue. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I would hope for... I think the toilet should be replaced and the tub. A standing shower would be more sanitary.

Not a single thing. Our room was absolutely filthy! It looked like it hadn’t even been vacuumed. And the carpets felt wet to walk around on. We left our shoes on the entire time. The AC in the bedroom of the suite didn’t work so it was hot and sticky. There was food in the pull out couch and no extra sheets and pillows we had to go request them at the front desk and they gave us one sheet and one pillow. No fitted sheet or blanket. If I could give this negative stars I would. The front desk that evening we checked in said to discuss it with the person when we checked out. He gave me a ton of attitude and said I needed to discuss it with the house keeping manager and all she said was “sorry we will make sure it’s cleaned” to which I said we’re checking out so that doesn’t really do us any good. She said the hotel manager would call me but I have yet to hear from any one.
