Holiday Inn Express Jacksonville Beach by IHG

Cleanest, friendliest, and one if the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in!

The Pool walls were filthy. It definitely needs maintaining. I had a package to be delivered and they told the UPS driver he had the wrong address which delayed my $135 package from home of contacts and medical needs to be delayed another few day and yet these members were aware of the package originally due Saturday then due to flooding in Ky it was coming Monday , yet still turned away my much needed contacts and products from home . The Only positive to this was the coffee bar and location to beach . Clientele was all over the place , for instance Wedding party poured alcohol in pool full of kids and had a child of 2 in age walking & throwing hot stones from fire pit in the pool , not supervised.

The staff member that worked the night shift was extremely nice. Me and my husband arrived very late and was very tired. I go to Jacksonville to the Mayo Clinic so it’s not necessarily an exciting visit because of the situation. knowing that I was going to have to wake up in a couple of hours, she brought a smile to my face which after an 8 Hour drive was very nice and pleasant. I have to take this trip to the Mayo Clinic many times and I will say very seldom when you check into a hotel at night time or should I say early morning just for a few hours of sleep are you welcome with such a big smile and cherrfull personality.

Breakfast was excellent and room was excellent nice friendly staff met all my needs parking was great 👍

We had the best stay. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. It was the perfect location and just a short drive to the beach or many amazing restaurants. Staff were always very friendly and spoke as we came and went. 10/10 recommend!

The hotel was clean but the showers had no water pressure at all . Breakfast was just ok nothing great . We could also tell the cleaning staff went through our bags but did not have anything of value so could not steal anything.

I want to give recognition to Noah. He works at night. He was amazing. Helped me so much. My phone died the first day I got to Florida. I had to attend my nephews retirement ceremony in Mayport. Noah gave me directions and printed them for me. Such a life saver. I loved everything about this hotel. We will be back

The staff was nice and friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Easy self parking. Breakfast was better than most and the coffee was great. Coffee was regularly available as well. Easy walking distance to restaurants and even the beach. The pool was comfortable with a few bugs, but that is to be expected in FL. Overall a good experience.
