Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Jacksonville - Airport

Our experience was very different from what the reviews led us to expect. The room was very bright and freezing cold (55°F) when we arrived, and it took us a while to figure out how to adjust the A/C. The hot water in the kitchen took a long time to heat up, and there was no dish soap or sponge provided. The floors were so dirty that my socks turned black. Breakfast consisted mostly of sugary, high-calorie foods, and the coffee was bitter. The front desk staff didn’t seem particularly welcoming. On the positive side, the mattress was comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful.

The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. I was very happy with my stay.

One staff member was working and while she was very kind and helpful, it was obvious she had her plate full with numerous tasks. The air conditioning unit was leaking in my room and a towel was stuffed under the unit to absorb the water. It was fully saturated. The only person working at the hotel came to my room and mopped up the leak but no further action was taken. There were no towels, hand towels, wash cloths, etc in the room.

Also.. They charge $100 deposit that you don’t get back for 3-5 business days

No room cleanings but once a week. Other than that was a easy stay.

Not enough choices for breakfast You have oatmeal but no bowls You only supply coffee mate Would it be so hard to have milk for those who don't like sweet additives

Where do I start... I had to stay the night in a room with a non-working TV and AC that doesn't allow any control to me, the customer. Now imagine a night like this in FL. This AC was set at 71 degrees period. The next disaster was the TV didn't work in the room! a brand new TV did not work. I contacted the front desk, they did come right away, however I went to use the restroom, then the rep told me before leaving it's working now. I come out still no signal. I contacted the front desk yet again and now the representative is irritated with me because I would like to see a TV at night. I personally want to hear something while I sleep and I'm sure someone else can agree with that. They send maintenance up there to fix it who stated after 2 minutes nothing can be done we'll move you to another room. So he comes back to move me to the new room and while we we're in the hallway on the way to the room he tells me that your room feels better then the new room, it is hotter plus it's something's leaking in there. Sure enough when we get to the room the floor is wet and extremely humid. So of course I went back to the room without any TVs. Some people may need a fan to sleep, some people love the dark & quite to sleep peacefully, however I require a TV being on to sleep & for the amount spent that I should have been able to have without attitude. I do not recommend anyone coming to this hotel and the sad part about it is it is newly built. I want my money BACK and NOW!

Brand new property. Not far from the airport. Very happy with stay.

Overall hotel was clean along with the room we stayed in. Staff members were friendly. We knew when we booked that the breakfast was going to be limited as it’s more so for “on the go” but there weren’t any bowls or milk to make the oatmeal. Would book again and recommend for others as it was a reasonable price for one night!
