Wyndham Jacksonville Hotel & Conference Center

I paid well in advance for a suite and when I checked in on 7/30/26, they didn't have a suite, I was so disappointed ☹️☹️, they told me that they were renovated the suites, but they gave my suite to football players that was in town, also we asked to speak to the manager and he or she wouldn't come out to talk to me and my husband, wasn't offered a discount, but was offered a free meal for two with one dessert, They gave us a regular room with a king size bed and I know that a regular room is much cheaper than a suite, I'm so disappointed and hurt that I paid for a suite and didn't get it, so disappointed 😞☹️☹️

I went to the restaurant and ordered a quesadilla starter. It was in edible. The oil must’ve been old, to the point of making one sick. The bed was clean but the linens smelt of dirty water otherwise the room was adequate. I thought I had ordered a room with a free buffet breakfast, but that was not so. I went to the restaurant and asked for a vegetable omelette, and it too had the same oil as the night before. I would not recommend this hotel.

Front desk person forgot to take my $25 deposit, so woke me up in the night before an early flight the next day to go downstairs and run my card - despite having it on file. Careless.

Only downside the breakfast was not included in the room price like it used to be under the previous operator

Got there and found out the hotel was under a new name so my payment is still pending so they tried to charge me twice

I am a senior-aged person and live on a fixed income. My daughter and I worked delivery jobs with Instacart, Door Dash and Spark to raise the funds to attend my cousin's Celebration of Life in her hometown. (She passed in Ohio in January and we held her memorial over her birthday weekend in Jacksonville.) I'm extremely dissatisfied with the hotel's lack of communication. The only person that did a decent job was the housekeeper who gave us extra towels and was friendly. We stayed in room 1411 from 7/10/2026 to 7/12/2026.

The airport shuttle was very convenient and the staff was very helpful. The hotel was very clean and close to shops

Building needs to be updated. Hallway was warm and elevator lobby was also warm.

This was our second stay, always clean, staff are very professional and air port shuttles are on time!

Very nice hotel. Food was also good and decent pricing.

The only thing I could mention is that the bathrooms in the room, particularly the shower is quite dated and the amenities that are provided to bathe could be improved.
