Microtel- Janesville has a TON of TV channels to choose from which is wonderful BUT can someone explain to me why Fox News was the only channel muted out? You saw the screen but no sound. CNN was fine, MSNBC was fine, all other news channels and all other channels worked just fine...only FOX News didn't have sound. Why? Hmmmm. I will not go to this hotel again for this reason.

Perfect place to stay! Everything was great!

Everything was good.

Very basic stay. All the essentials are provided with no frills. The breakfast was nice, very basic, and they had grab and go options which is great when you're on go or sleeping in until the very last moment of continental breakfast.

Nice, clean room. Decent breakfast. Amazing shower! Neutral. Soft bed. Bad. Very noisy traffic and doors.

Seems like everything was recently upgraded and everything was better than expected. Based on the price I expected some issues but it was the opposite. Everything was perfect and the staff was wonderful.

Clean room, comfortable bed One of the noisiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I’m not a light sleeper but could hardly sleep with all the truck noise, even with ear plugs and a white noise machine. Room was pretty small, too, with no coffee maker.

Very quiet, very clean. Went right to sleep. Perfect for an overnight stay.

The property is clean and they try really hard to maintain it.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Conveniently close to the freeway but still quiet. I heard the tornado siren go off. Ask at the front desk if they knew anything about it. The response was no I don't know anything about it. I would think the staff would have a little more concern about the safety of people staying at the hotel and for the staff.

Very cozy and clean place

Selected the hotel based on economics. A very reasonable priced stay for a quick overnight on our way home. The breakfast was very comparable to other higher end facilities. Front lobby was rather cramped. Breakfast was served away from the lobby. Walking to our room there was observable clutter in maintenance and laundry rooms. It lessened the ambiance of the facility. Should be noted that there is no elevator to the second floor. My wife and I are not physically unable to climb stairs, being seventy years old, thought it to me a inconvenience to carrying luggage up the stairs to our room. Didn't see that anywhere in the description.

One night stay. Hotel was clean and convenient. Rooms are small but that was expected. I did request a first floor room and they did accommodate me.

The shower head was amazing for a hotel like this. Adjustable. Great pressure. Water was hot. 6 hotels i've stayed in for the past 8 days on our road trip and the first time I felt like I was in a real shower.
