Tru By Hilton Janesville

The location was super convenient right off the freeway. The property itself was extremely clean and well kept. The breakfast was good. There is a swimming pool in a fitness center that seemed to be in very good shape. I was very happy with my stay there.

My only complaint is the late night foot stomping from the people above my room. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Linda

Room was clean and spacious, but the bed was hard as a rock. My back is still recovering. The property was clean and well kept, and the staff were courteous except for check-out day. We had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door and housekeeping knocked, twice. Both times we answered that we were still sleeping. I did leave a personal item that was quickly found via a phone call that they are shipping out to me, and the employee was extremely kind. All in all, it was a great stay. I'd just ask for a different bed.

The breakfast was good. Liked the location. We were unaware we had to ask to have the room cleaned, bed changed an clean towels after the first night on a two night stay.

Our five night stay was pleasant, but our choice of facility was not appropriate for senior travelers. The Tru by Hilton chain is very miminalistic and much more appropriate for a younger audience. Our handicap accessible room was very spacious but also sparsely furnished in Early IKEA furnishings. There was only a king size bed and one desk chair on rollers in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped with adaptations for those with handicapping condition. The roll in shower, however was an accident waiting to happen. The shower curtain ended several inches from the base of the shower allowing soapy water to flow onto the bathroom floor. There was a drain in the bathroom floor, but the water didn't all go down the drain. Instead, it flowed over much of the adjacent floor. Stepping onto this wet soapy floor was hazardous, especially with mobility issues. The breakfast was nothing special and the hours of availability were very limited. As a senior traveler with mobility limitations I will not stay at a Tru by Hilton hotel again. I will choose one of Hilton's higher end chains.

Great hotel.. Booked two rooms and they kept us near each other. Easy check in. Very clean hotel and rooms. Pet friendly. Great staff. Great breakfast. Will be staying again!

This particular location is in a weird spot that’s hard to get into at first. Once you know where to go, it’s fine. It’s close to a lot of restaurants and gas stations, and easy to get to off the interstate

It was very hot during our stay and our room did not cool off that fast, so we kept our blinds closed. Staff came in to clean the room while we were gone, opened the blinds, instead of leaving them closed...came back to a hot room.

Staff were absent each time I needed something at the front desk.
