Comfort Inn Joliet West I-80

The room was awful; the sheets were torn, stained, and smelled bad. I told the owner, but he did nothing to change them. They didn't even take out the trash or clean the bathroom. I stayed there for three day. Breakfast was bad, too. We couldn't eat the eggs

Unfortunately nothing stood out as good to great for this stay. The building is old. The beds were adequate. After we took the do not disturb sign off our room was never cleaned. I will not be staying at that location next trip.

Someone on the floor was smoking weed. Disgusting. The rooms were ok but for what we paid should of been in better condition. Beds were great. Pillows should be replaced.

The woman behind the front desk was extremely helpful. She gave us good advice on how to get around the Chicago area

The room smelled of mildew, but it was clean enough to put up with for one night.

Looked run down

Was an overnight stay and the room and breakfast were satisfactory

AC was moldy and bathroom smelled of urine 😞

The hotel is old and in need of repairs as a few of the outlets in our room didn't work. The shower was old and stained but otherwise clean.

Served our need for rest.

Lastly the electric service in the room was faulty. It fried my travel surge protector and the lights constantly flickered

Room was dirty. Stains on the white blankets. Hair on the blankets. Room smelt like stale water. Shower would not drain. Live Cockroach in the shower and went down the drain. Live Cockroach on the nightstand. Dead Cockroach in the corner by the door. We left as soon as we saw this at 11:30. Front desk rep did not sound surprised when I told her but when asked said she did not know they had cockroaches. Came back the next day Manager Harry said they would refund us. I am still waiting for Expedia/the hotel to refund me for both nights.

Basic hotel close to interstate that met my needs. Appreciated being able to have my pet.

Cleaner than expected

The staff was very friendly and helpful on arrival and check out. The breakfast had a good variety and was very good. Beds were comfortable. The hotel was right off of the interstate in an area with other hotels. There was also a nice sports bar with good food that we were able to go to after check in. The room we got was one of 2 left available on short notice on a Friday night. It had a comfortable king bed, but the rest of the room was pretty run-down and needed a refresh. The bathroom was clean, but again very much in need of a refresh. It looked like the small lobby had been updated, along with the breakfast room. Maybe the room we got just hadn't been on the schedule yet for updates.
