TownePlace Suites by Marriott Joliet South

This is a very basic side of the highway hotel. The pics make it look nicer than it was. Our room was fine but the bathroom toilet and faucet were loose, the A/C smelled so musty we couldn’t use it. I can’t imagine who would rate this anything higher.

The room was very clean. A couple of things I didn’t like: 1. The room had a moldy smell to it. 2. There was a stranger staying in the hotel that was under the influence of drugs and was acting really strange. My 12 year old was scared of him while we saw him coming in and out of the hotel several times. I understand the hotel reserves the option to keep or deny the stay to any person but in this case it was obvious that this guy was on drugs. So, we thought that the police needed to be reached out; however, nobody reached out the police and this particular individual was making people feel uncomfortable.
