The staff is more friend or family than staff

The innkeeper is lovely and helpful. The house is charming. As I arrived in the middle of the night, they accommodated me with a late breakfast. And the added bonus was Wally, the fabulous resident dog. The only complaint is that he wasn´t allowed upstairs, so I couldn´t cuddle him overnight!

This is the only place I like to stay in Juneau. The location is perfect for downtown walking, dining and politicking. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. The owner-operators are caring, warm and serve incredible breakfast every morning. Highly recommend.

The owners have done a tremendous job taking care of this historic house in Juneau. They are very accomodating and welcoming. There was nothing that could have been improved. An excellent place to stay

Fantastic place to stay in Juneau!

The breakfast was wonderful, very attentive to our preferences, and delicious. Served in a very comfy homey space. A great way to start the day!

The breakfasts were excellent and really set us up for the day.

The folks who run the Inn are fabulous - made us feel welcome and at home, and they were so very helpful with advice on the types of hikes we wanted to do. The breakfasts were delicious! The upstairs room, while very comfortable, was a bit hot and stuffy at night despite opening windows. This would not be an issue in cooler weather, but it was warm while we visited. Fans were likely available if we had asked.

Off our luggage, and they told us that our rooms were ready Nothing to not like!

Breakfast was very nice. The staff were charming. Interesting older house. We could have done our laundry there but did not realize this at the time. While the facility was reasonable close to restraurants and other attractions, it was up hill. We had our transportation from our small cruise drop us off at a laundry and it seemed like a short walk but we found out there were many stairs on the route we took. Perhaps working with google and Apple Maps to give a better indication of the many steps from the Laudromat would be helpful.

Very nice. Very clean. Super friendly staff.

one of the best B&Bs I’ve ever been in. Everything was pristine, lots of comfy chairs in the lounge area. The bed was the most comfortable I’d ever slept in. The room was a good size. I will say that a lot of people like claw-foot tubs but I’m not a fan but it was fine. The breakfasts were phenomenal. The cook should start his own restaurant. Would stay here again in the heartbeat.

Gene and Elizabeth were amazing hosts. So inviting and friendly and helped with suggestions which all turned out to be great. Breakfast was top notch. Rooms are nice but walls are thin. Safe area and walkable into town. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hosts who were very accomodating. The property has a very interesting history and it is centrally located in Juneau across the street from the Alaska Capitol and downtown. Beautiful view of Juneau. Nothing to offer. It was a wonderful place to stay

First time visiting Juneau, our goal was to explore the city. This location was perfect to walk over to the capitol, the historic district, the piers, and lots of great eatery options. We were able to park our rental car on site for travel over to EagleCrest & some local hikes too. More than anything we appreciated the caretakers (Bing & Elizabeth) who made the experience very enjoyable. The daily breakfasts included are a delicious healthy treat to start each day….and a great way to meet other guests. Elizabeth & Bing’s experiences are amazing to hear about…and the homemade cookies and well stocked tea & coffee bar were always greatly appreciated. The B&B was the best lodging option we could have chosen. Highly recommend!

The highlight of our stay was the delicious Christmas dinner they prepared and shared with us—a truly special and heartwarming gesture. The breakfasts were equally amazing: hearty, fulfilling, and the perfect way to start the day. Our room was cozy and full of authentic historic details that added to the inn’s character. It was an amazing stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend Alaska’s Capital Inn to anyone visiting Juneau!
