Needs more clothing space and extra night stands for other sides of the beds.

The Room was very clean and smelled nice. Shower was nice. Breakfast was pretty wack I would have rather slept in than got up for it

A Clean, Modern Hotel That Was Perfect for a Quick Overnight Stay We had a very good stay at avid hotel Kalamazoo East by IHG. The hotel has a really modern, clean design from the moment you walk in, and the lobby has several comfortable seating areas, including a more private TV area where you can sit and relax away from the main lobby. Our room had two queen beds and was definitely on the smaller side, but for what we needed, a comfortable place to lay our heads and catch some much-needed ZZZs, it was absolutely fine. Everything felt clean and fresh, there were no unpleasant smells, and the beds and sheets were very comfortable. That matters a lot to me when staying somewhere overnight. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise. It was available from 6:00 to 9:30 a.m., and they had oatmeal, which I was especially happy to see, along with breads, cereals, beverages, and other breakfast choices. They even had almond milk, which was a nice touch that you do not always find at hotels. The coffee station was also impressive, with plenty of options available. I also really liked the open, contemporary look of the lobby and breakfast area. Everything felt bright, updated, and thoughtfully designed without being overly fancy. For us, this hotel checked the boxes that mattered most: clean, comfortable, modern, and reasonably priced. If you are looking for a huge room or resort-style amenities, this probably is not that kind of hotel. But if you need a comfortable overnight stop, especially at the right price, it is a very solid choice. I would definitely stay here again. No complaints

It felt modern and compact, a number of amenities even if somewhat limited. There was a hot rod convention that had super loud revving cars for hours on end that made sleep hard. It also blocked up traffic and made it really hard to find parking spots. There was also an addict who came onto the property at night that made things feel less safe when she started causing issues in the lobby, but staff handled it promptly. Breakfast was also kind of subpar with very limited options, which was disappointing as a pregnant woman. The orange juice was also rancid tasting, but the apple was fine!

Although the building was smaller than most and simple in design, it was clean and the staff were excellent. They served a warm breakfast with meat and eggs ...not just cereal and toast.

The staff were nice. The hotel lobby, and hallways were very clean. The room was clean and smelled nice. All the amenities worked. The only issue was a sticky floor in one of the elevators. Other than that everything was amazing. We did not stay for the breakfast. So not sure how that was.
