Baymont by Wyndham Kansas City KU Medical Center

What i didn't like was the smell, smelled of cigarette smoke and dirty water. Ive stayed many of times and not all rooms smell that way. The bedding looked dirty with dark stains on the it.

Out of a lot of breakfast items, no hot water the first day, ac made bad noises at night, was not told in advance that there was a 150.00 deposit when checking in. Never had to do that before with windom properties. I live on disability so that deposit took away from my saved expenses for the doctor visits I was there for.

Got a double bed one bed had blood on the boxspring. The fridge was frozen over. The a.c. was leaking onto the carpet. And getting back in the hotel was difficult do to 3 out of 4 doors I tried to use my card on wouldnt open to enter the property

Bathroom door would not close and latch. Handle was very loose and falling out. A simple 2 minute fix. Staff was friendly!

Horrible experience! We didn’t stay. Went across the road to a much better hotel.

Best conformable hotel I stay in and very clean.

It was very nice on the inside, bed was super comfortable. Looks like has been newly remodeled. Shower looked dirty, maybe it hadnt been redone yet and only had 1 towel.

Everything was old and dirty.

i had to check out just an hour later after i found a new place to stay in, but it cost me to loose money for a night i didn’t use and no refund

Staff finally gave us a different room after we showed them that the air-conditioning didn't work. Staff was nice and patience with us. I booked the room when grandson had be transported by ambulance 1 1/2 hours from home. I had his mother 3 younger siblings in the car with me. When the EMT or nurse said he'd would have to stay over night. It was late and I got on booking.com to book a room. Being worried and stressed I booked a room at an close and affordable price. What I didn't do was check the date that I booked the room for. The children I went to check into the motel and they couldn't find our reservation. I looked up on my phone a different discovered I'd check the date it it was for next money. Unfortunately I couldn't cancel and get by money back. They had available rooms for that night but at $100.00 more. ( I booked a different motel. I was much nicer and had a nice hot breakfast. The air-conditioning worked great and the beds were comfortable and pool was open.) The pool was closed and under construction on this stay. The breakfast wasn't great. Wouldn't stay again. Ever time the children see Baymont by Wyndham they say I never want to stay in one of them again.

The staff were good, the rooms not so clean and there was a problem with the bath tub. Need more shower towels.

At checkout when I reiterated the problems that there wasn't a TV remote and was told that we were supposed to ask the front desk for one when we wished to use the TV. No one told us this when we checked in and frankly that's ridiculous for how many rooms are in this hotel. I understand we pay for what we get, but I still expect a shower curtain. I will not use this hotel again.

The Price! The Bed was Comfortable, the pillows were soft but with good support. The shower was good and Hot. It’s access to I-70 Also, it is easy walking distance to a GREAT BBQ restaurant… Rosedale BBQ. I would probably go back The Neighborhood! The Smoke detector hanging from the ceiling.
