The room smelt awful like mold and cigarettes. And the toilet did not work.

I try really hard not to leave bad reviews. I rented this room so that we could go swimming. We were already gonna be out there anyway heard afterwards that it’s like the main place. I shouldn’t rent From. They would not let me back out even though I had the insurance protection and everything so we go ahead and drive all the way out there right as we pull in there’s like three or four parking spots empty because there’s shattered glass everywhere where people have been probably breaking into cars we go in just the feel of it was off they gave us a room in a building all the way at the end where the door to get in the building someone tried to break into the glass was all shattered in it the bathroom we had had no shower curtain. My daughter had to try to take a shower without a curtain. They didn’t give us the Wi-Fi password could not find one working ice machine and my husband and I had to keep switching off one of us staying with my daughter because she was terrified to be by herself there because it looks like they get broken into all the time the pool was completely empty room was really hot most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in husband and I both woke up in so much pain like we were sleeping on concrete. I wish I had anything good to say the fridge didn’t even work right couldn’t fit anything in the freezer but it froze all of our soda early one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom I know they were really busy, but the room still should’ve been taking care of better

Room description is inaccurately! Room was booked for 5 guests with a sofa bed and when we arrived to the hotel and got the room all they have is a chair.. no rollout beds or sofa bed. Requested a bigger room or upgrade but they don’t have any, staff stated that pictures of the room were from old management.

Hotel could definitely use an update and better cleaning (carpets in room and hallways were not cleaned recently). The hotel was really convenient to food places and getting back on I35.
-
The staff is horrible, there is only one staff member in the whole hotel. They charged my card for the deposit and took 3 weeks to refund the deposit. No one answers the phone. Overall rude.

ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN, HANDLE FOR THE SHOWER WAS BROKEN
-
It includes a gym and breakfast, but I didn't use it. Not enough time. Front desk always available. It didn't look/feel clean. It was way older than the pictures show, the bathroom was separated from the sink, not trash can in the bathroom. Not even a shower curtain, the bathroom was pretty dirty.

El desayuno es todos los días lo mismo, pero por el precio está bien!

Refrigerator doesn’t work
-
The hotel is really old. No maintenance at all. Real expensive for a 1 star hotel

I strongly recommend against this hotel.

I stayed two nights. I had to get a room changed because the first room they gave me did not have a deadbolt. Staff was kind and helpful and gave me another room near to the lobby as I requested. The pool was more than out of order. The exercise room seemed to be OK if One wants to exercise. Breakfast did not have any meat either of the mornings I was there. The eggs were not great. Breakfast in general was very lacking in options. I’m glad coffee was available around the clock. Not the favorite neighborhood. I didn’t feel totally safe. The room stay cool, I’m thankful. Shower was nice and hot and warm. Towels were not the greatest, needing some updating. Against staff was very helpful in giving me another towel or two and more shampoo. Overall, the staff was good, place was not. I Did sleep well once I got to sleep, and was sleepy. TV worked and gave me just good enough of channels to entertain myself.

Do not stay here!! The pictures on their website are obviously from many years ago., the rooms are dirty, furniture is old and worn, our phone didn't work. We had to change rooms because our first door would not lock when we left. I was ok with that because the room smelt like cigarette smoke, and there was mold in the tub. The second room smelled better, but the tub had several hairs in it. I showered as soon as I got home. Gross!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was really bad. Cereal wasn’t fresh, no water or juice available. Lack of food variety. Besides breakfast, everything was great.

The room was awful. First we had to change rooms due to rabid barking dogs in the room next to ours, then we move to the second floor with no elevator so we have to lug everything up there. The rooms toilet was broken, the shower handle fell off after 1 use, the fridge didnt work, the door lock was broken, I mean i could go on and on, it was shameful. The breakfast buffet was eggs, some old cereal, coffee, and some runny waffle mix with no butter and a little cold syrup. What the hell? No juice, no bagels or danishes, no sausage or bacon, i mean it couldn't even really be called a buffet. Safe to say we will never stay at the Baymont again.

Please increase quality of breakfast

I liked the window blinds and the bed was comfy. Also bed had three different types of pillows per bed. It was quite and the staff was pleasant. You had your choice between soft and blinding lighting, to the point you could still see light for hours after you closed your eyes. I needed to work and I could not due to no WIFI being available. I would connect and the was alerted i was connected with no internet. Also the vending machine would not take change and kept my dollar. I went to the front desk and was told they had no change for a $5 and could not give me my money back from the machine. I was advised to walk next door to sonic and they could probably give me change. Just a small tip: Inform people if they are for a few days or more that they do not get room service (bed made, clean linen, etc).

Upon entering the room the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling loosely and I was unable to secure it to the ceiling. Toilet was not working as the tank was draining the water and first flush proved no water in tank, Removed tank top and just left it on floor so I could manually fill tank top flush, then it would drain out after filling. The tv did not come on, neither with remote or tv buttons. Upon checkout Sunday morning the clerk told me the general manager would call me Monday to discuss an adjustment after entering all the above details for GM why I was requesting an adjustment to the bill, as clerk had no authority to adjust it. Now five days later, still no call.

I was unable to stay due to then having a power outage yet them nor booking.com would give me a refund for the fact that it was not due to anything on my half on why I couldn't stay and ended up spending another hour trying to find another hotel.. They say it was up to booking.com to do a refund and booking.com says it was the hotel. So now I was out over $106.00 for this booking plus the cost of having to find another hotel and paid more for another hotel. I should NOT of been charged since it was no my doing that I was unable to stay at this hotel. I will never go through either of them again do to them being crooks for changing me for a room I was unable to stay at because they had no power at the hotel.

It was awful and all cold at 605am when I got down there to eat. The staff was rude from check in to check out the person told me last night I would have my deposit today and that did not happen. There was mold in the bathroom on the shower walls I have pictures of it.
