Room was clean. AC was great. Hotel felt safe. Staff was friendly. Would stay here again.

Also it required us two trips to the car and when I came back to the room to get the rest of our stuff there was housekeeping in the room! My purse was still in the room!!! Why? It was long before checkout time!

I enjoyed the view at this hotel. Clean, gorgeous city, at least on our side of the hotel. I wanted to put the hold on a credit card and pay with a debit card, as a placard states is possible at the reception desk. I could not get the desk attendant to understand that I didn't want the hold on my debit card.

Had to be at ku medical center before breakfast started Elevators required key card to operate. You had to insert key card 8-10 times before elevator would work. When having cancer surgery the next morning you would think holiday inn would be a little more compassionate. On the worst day of your life they charge you $204 for a non descript room.

Breakfast was great. The room was a great temperature on my arrival (nice and chilly, which is my preference). I appreciated the shower bench, particularly, and the little touches that made it special. The key card was problematic in one elevator and took several tries to figure out a method that worked.

The room was very clean and comfortable and check-in was very easy. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety including hot and cold items. We had an accessible room which was nice. The only issue was the shower head was positioned so that you had to hold it or it sprayed water out onto the floor. It would have been nice to have a holder that pointed the head toward the floor. Overall, it was a very good place to stay and directly across from the KU med center. We were on vacation, but it would be an excellent choice if you needed to stay over for some kind of medical procedure.

Location was excellent. We had an early appointment at KU MED the next morning. It was very quiet and easy to relax.
