Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kansas City KU Medical Center by IHG

The room was very nice so close to the KU med center unfortunately had problems with one of the elevators, but the other one worked just fine

Loved having free breakfast and parking. Locations to shopping, freeway and restaurants was great.

Would stay again

The building and rooms were clean and comfortable to stay in. The security for floor 3 and 4 was nice. Only being able to access those floors by assigned room only.

Expensive for what it was, wifi was poor, air-conditioning was very noisy i.e. couldn't sleep with it on plus there was a fan running continuously in the bathroom. Good breakfast, decent location.

Close to the hospital I’m not sure we got the hospital discount but the cost was reasonable

We checked in at almost 8pm and say hello to this lady in the reception, she didn’t bother to smile and welcomed us, just said need the name and your credit card, pointing the direction and that’s it ! Not even mentioning the basic details about check out time, time for breakfast and anything that we need was thinking in my room I thought breakfast was included in what I paid but maybe not guess will just go to IHOP then I discovered when I was about to check out as I people eating there so I told my company that they serve breakfast. Same with the morning reception, no greetings just look at you as if you have 2 heads , there’s 2 ladies there looking at me when I approached to inform about my check out, just said to me about leaving my card key, and I told them that I have to collect my things since we just had breakfast and she said that I can leave the card keys in the room and that’s it . Not even giving us the paper receipt which I didn’t bother to ask but as a standard procedure usually they’ll run for you, not even ask about how’s our stay and hope to see you next time. Those little things that really counts, hope the management will do something about it, give more customer service training to their staff!
