Residence Inn by Marriott Kansas City at The Legends

We love coming to stay here!!! Staff is amazing and we love the rooms!! Always clean and well maintained!!! The free breakfast buffet is delicious!!!! Love that it’s located within walking distance to so many attractions!!!!

This is our usual spot when in KC. Super walkable!

Clean well-maintained property near the I-70 Corridor with walkable dining options. Great for pets. Very clean comfortable room. Get the King Suite. Staff was professional. Breakfast was pretty good. Peace!!

I thought the breakfast area could have been better attended to. Tables dirty and trash full and messy food area.

The room was not clean, mold, food left in fridge, and bathroom floor had door prints on tile from people before.

Staffing was great it was everything we expected it to be! Great location near shopping are and grocery stores.

Location!!!! Close to the stadium, restaurants and casino.

The breakfast didn’t come close to the hype and the lukewarm coffee about summed it up It was a Sunday night and we were put in a third floor room (great for our dog, eh?) probably the farthest away from the front desk and breakfast. I would guess there were no more than 10 people staying there. Overall, a lousy and expensive lesson to learn. I’ll never book with Marriott properties or Expedia again.

Overall, we had a good stay. The property was clean, the room was spacious, and the king bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. However, the sofa bed was a major disappointment. The mattress was extremely thin—so thin that you could feel the springs while lying down, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. If you plan to use the sofa bed, you may want to consider other sleeping arrangements.

Clean room! Amazing breakfast!

The staff was kind checking in. Only one elevator working with tons of travel ball kids staying at the hotel . The room was fairly clean , the worst part of the stay was how rough and scratchy the sheets were.

The room was clean. The staff was courteous and overall it was a nice day. A coffee was delicious.
