Comfort Suites Kansas City - Liberty

The rooms were spotless. The facilities as a whole were not the Ritz, but well maintaned for sure. The breakfast was actually edible. The staff was incredibly friendly. I was on my way out, and saw who I believe was the owner and told him he had a great hotel and I promised him a good review. For the price, this place is amazing. 100% recommend.

Very nice place. You could tell it was an older building, but it seems to have nice upgrades. I would stay there again. Plenty of restaurants close by.

I usually stay here when I visit kc…decent place at a reasonable price…but, this time the prices were twice as much (because of the World Cup) but the experience was not worth the extra expense…less than enthusiastic desk staff and less than sparkling clean room…I will be staying somewhere else the next time I visit kc…

Good breakfast Old hotel. Needs updating. Some lights in the room didn’t work. High cost.

Clean, spacious room and comfortable bed. Decent breakfast. The jacked up price that weekend. When I called the hotel directly I was told $250 and then the next minute he said it was $315. I then got on Booking.com and got it for $256.

What a great stay at Comfort Suites. Nani at the front desk was so helpful. He even upgraded our room. This is rare service that I don’t experience any more. I would highly recommend staying at this Comfort Suites. You will not be disappointed.

The parking lot was adequate, the ice machine worked the breakfast was average. The value was ok. The bathroom tile floor drain was a tripping hazard and unsafe. the drain should have been flush with the tile but there was a half inch gap.

The cabinet below the refrigerator fell apart

Dirty, worn and stained linens, smell, lobby chairs with head stains on them.

we were there 7 nights but told after we arrived room cleaning every 3 days. so we had to pick up fresh towels daily since we only got enough for 1 day. The breakfast was ok...bland. people were ok, but hard to communicate.

Great location Need extra sheets for the pullout couch.

Con: We left two hours after checking in due to bed bugs on two different beds in the room. I took the pillow to front desk with one on it and my wife had to show Nani video of the others. We had seen some black spotting on the sheets when we got there and looked around the mattress but nothing stood out. Once the lights went off, they came out. Of no fault of the hotel, KC was sold out for the weekend (we even had Expedia search for us as we called hotels individually hoping someone cancelled) so we ended up driving 3 hrs home and lost out on $240 in event tickets we had for the next day. So I had four crying kids due to having to go home and a crying wife due to knowing there were a bunch of sports families we’d seen staying there that may be subject to same issue.

Convenient location. Temperature unit in room did not operate unless constant fan was on. Night 1 was uncomfortably warm until we figured this out for night 2. Perhaps provide instructions at check-in or in the room would be helpful.

had two queen size beds bath tub was to very small and shower curtain was not clean

The air conditioner didn't work properly in our room. The nights were cool so it wasn't a bid issue but I reported to the hotel for the sake of those who follow us.
