Extended Stay America Suites Kansas City Airport

Room smelled like smoke people next door starting fighting and punching walls at 6am. Was denied a refund for checking out.

The staff was extremely friendly and willing to help with any questions. Breakfast was a little less than desirable. It's basically some cereal bars, grabbing, go, COFFEE WAS OUT. I stay here a lot when I'm in town. For business serves the purpose very well, prices. Great. Only down part is you need to find breakfast somewhere, but you can bring food breakfast sandwiches, things like that.Because you have a full kitchen.

My room was clean.. build was nice. However I do think it’s time to upgrade their mattresses because they were hard and made my back hurt outside of that it was a nice stay

The next morning we were awakened to water leaking from the kitchen ceiling into the stove, light fixture & on the floor. I went to the front desk to get help & they came & looked & said they would check on the problem. 2 hrs later, no updates. I went back down & was told they were having the people above us move out but nothing had been brought to our attention about fixing our room or cleaning up the mess. By now, it is also leaking from the bathroom ceiling. I spent another hour trying to call customer relations with no luck since this was a Saturday. The Asst GM at the desk was the ONLY desk employee on a Saturday at an airport hotel in June. He called the GM who would not come it to help. Character limit is cutting me off.... Had to move to 2 separate rooms w/o any assistance while ill due to no staff. 2nd room still dirty, plugs not working, rusted stove, rusted out hairdryer, etc..

Not a bad place to stay near the airport for one night.

I arrived about an hour early for check-in and asked if my ride could use the ladies’ room. We were told they did not have a public restroom, and the attitude from the male front desk employee was unnecessarily rude. When I returned later around 11:00 PM to check in, no one was at the front desk, and I had to wait for the attendant to unlock the door. I was assigned a handicap-accessible room, and when I asked if I could switch rooms, I was told that I had requested it and that the hotel was fully booked with no other rooms available. The fixtures in the room were very old, and the room itself was dirty, including some of the towels. I was eventually able to switch to another room for the remainder of my stay from Friday to Monday, but the second room was never cleaned during my stay.

Staff was from, and helpful. Breakfast was just muffins, granola bars and oatmeal. Rooms were quiet. Located close to Acellus Academy.

Check in was fast and able to check in on time. The door looked like it wouldn’t shut all the way. Doors all around us were very loud in early morning hours despite guest volumes being quiet. Our air conditioning didn’t work it was stuffy inside. Breakfast was a granola bar, no other option for younger children.

About what you’d expect for the price. Nothing fancy but somewhere to stay close to the airport which is what we needed. Bed was very firm. Staff was kind. No complaints.

The hotel was ok overall but I wouldn't pay extra for breakfast. Even as a "GRAB N GO" style, there wasn't much to eat. All they had was tiny muffins ganola bars and coffee. No fruits, no juice, no cereal...
