Hampton Inn Kansas City Northeast

Shower head broke and Chris said he would have it fixed while we were out for the day. Came back and still broken. Of course Chris was already gone for the day and the gal working had no clue what I was talking about. Thankful for her she was able to get us into a new room however moving rooms in the middle of stay is pretty inconvenient. We ended up checking out a day early and once again Chris said I would be refunded and never saw a refund.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Free parking a plus. Room was sufficient but could use a refresh and additional cleaning. We had a wall outside our window so room was dark and not much lighting.

Chris was very helpful and very welcoming. We needed a place to sleep. There is nothing special about the hotel. The breakfast was very limited options. The bathroom sink was not as clean as it should have been. The bed was not comfortable.

The staff was very polite. My room smelled like dog and a little urine smell. I let them know. They said they would send up a machine to kill the smell. It is a ozone machine so I elected to wait until the end of my 2 day stay. They sprayed something that helped a bit. It is a pet friendly hotel and unfortunately the pet was not trained well. The breakfast was nice. Sausage, scrambled eggs, French toast and bagels with cream cheese. It is very close to Worlds of Fun and Arthur Bryants BBQ. If you have kids and want to get to the Park quickly it would be good for your family. If you want to enjoy a pool and have a bit nicer place, spend another 50-100 a night and check around.

Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good and had options to choose from. The room was musty with mold growing in the bathroom and could use a deep cleaning.

The person checked us in was great and the breakfast was good. Was not the room we booked. The room was supposed to have a roll in shower.not a tub. There was a musty smell and the sheets on the bed were horrible, they felu like I was sleeping on sand or wool ( not soft at all). There was water on the floor of the elevator that made the floor slippery. The bed felt damp. I just expected better.

.easy access to highway and worlds of fun First room was stinky. Moved us to another room air conditioner leaking and carpet was wet. Let staff know and they said they would let maintance know and nobody ever showed. Staff very unfriendly. Pool nasty dirty ,had clumps of hair in it and no chlorine at all.

Hotel was really nice. However the beds are hard as rocks. My whole family didnt sleep very good due to how hard the beds were.

The only problem I had with this place was the beds were about as hard as a rock. I ended up having to lay on top of the extra pillows to make it soft enough to fall asleep

This property is located very close to KC major tourist attraction so therefore it sees a lot of daily use. It is starting to show it's wear and tear. Our carpet in our room was damp the entire 3 days that we were there. We had small knats in our room and even a beetle. No it wasn't a cockroach but a beetle. With that being said the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the standard continental breakfast so nothing to brag about. I don't feel that I would stay at this hotel again just because of the issues mentioned. But again the staff was great.

Location was great for Worlds of Fun. The room smelled musty/ mildewy, and it felt very humid/ moist in the room. The carpets were sticky.

Can't go wrong with Hampton Inn. Clean rooms, good breakfast, good location. Parking was free. Overall very satisfied, Thank you
