Comfort Inn & Suites Kansas City - Northeast

The property is close to Kauffman stadium, fast food and a gas station. The property smelled like Marijuana outside and was right next to a busy road. The breakfast was good but not enough seating. The property overall needs lots of updates. Many patched holes but not painted, carpets are dirty, air conditioner worked but hard to adjust, sticky floors including elevator, elevator was slow with a specific button to make the door shut when it was stuck, noisy when people walking around.

The property was ok. The room seemed outdated. I believe one of our window coverings was off so it was Loud as we were by the interstate. Otherwise amenities were fine

Location, 3 queen beds in same room, Very nice desk staff. Worn decor. Shady people smoking outside hotel after dark. Too pricey for quality of facility.

Nothing negative to say! First time staying will be back again!

While I was not expecting a safe and comfortable space, I was willing to assist in preparing the room by gathering necessary items and disinfecting it with Lysol spray. We were fortunate to acquire a box fan, as our air conditioner was malfunctioning. It was 98° with high humidity. I’m still dehydrated Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to the need to travel. Despite the discomfort, I managed to sleep in the sauna. Dave was covered in sweat throughout the day, and the overall situation was quite chaotic. I would appreciate a refund if possible. Although the experience was unfortunate and uncomfortable, my mother was with me, and she was extremely hot and unwell, which unfortunately resulted in a migraine. Additionally, Dean rented a junior under the influence for 13 hours today. Please contact me if I can request a refund for my room.

Morning, breakfast was excellent

I checked in after 9pm, I waited a couple of minutes for front desk agent to return to the desk, the lady was very friendly, told me about the amenities, and asked if she could call to check in as it was getting late. I had room 330, which was by the back stairs, which I used more than elevator due to parking being closer to this end, instead of the entrance, and there is only 1 elevator. My room had an odor though, a musky humid scent, that lingered for my 2 night stay, and while I adjusted to it, that was a bit gross. When she called, I mentioned the odor, and how two lights were not working (above door went out minutes after arrival and one on side of bed was out), and she didn't offer to change my room, just said enjoy your stay. Otherwise, the room was fairly clean (found a couple hairs on sheet), fridge worked well, great AC, excellent water pressure in shower, and the room was spacious (King Suite). The shower had very hot water but sink was only cold water. The connecting room door was UNLOCKED and I am glad I checked it soon after arriving! That should always be locked each turn over... Breakfast had plentiful options, eggs and sausage weren't great, but I LOVED the fresh fruit cups with blueberries, melons, and grapes! If room didn't smell I'd rate it a 5/5.
