Origin Kansas City Riverfront, a Wyndham Hotel

This was a wonderful hotel. Check in was easy. The hotel restaurant/bar was quite nice. The Beer Garden across the street was wonderful. Street car access was a definite plus. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable. The hotel did not feel crowded.

The location to the KC Streetcar was fantastic. Literally across the street. Never more than a few minutes wait and one stop to the City Market or a few minutes to downtown. Coffee in the rooms was all decaf, and we asked for more and got decaf, but I have to say the Nespresso coffees were excellent.

Modern and spacious, I was able to use my Tablet on the TV by using HDMI1, so other ports appear to be blocked. I wish the enclosed shower had an extra outlet for a handheld shower hose to assist with my accessibility but I managed anyway.

We had a wonderful stay - again. We will be back!

Sink lean at base of faucet. Water was all over the bathroom floor at check in and again after returning to the room.

Came for a KC current game, cannot get a better hotel if that's what you're here for. Plan to stay here for our next game next season!

This hotel is a gem!! Location is perfect, staff was so friendly and helpful, the vibe of the hotel was super cool, decor was unique and upscale, everything was very clean, restaurant was great… we LOVED it!

Great location - near the trolley which took us to most of what we wanted to do in downtown Kansas City. Beautiful spot.

While this is a pet friendly hotel it is loud with construction which caused my dogs to bark while I was out we had been gone no longer than an hour when we started getting calls from the hotel about the dogs barking we immediately came back to a very hateful note which I am happy to provide. The room while newer was full of moisture to the point a dehumidifier was on in our room. The pet fee of 50 per pet is highway robbery no snacks and the restaurant isnt that good. The glass shower door came off the track. I lifted it to put it back with out much problem, but for someone without much arm strength, this could be dangerous.

Had problems with parking and was overcharged for it after being told parking was free. Loud trains overnight and property was hard to access when there was a game at stadium next door.

Great location at the very beginning of the KC tram (that was free). Staff was the most friendly we have EVER encountered. First stop on the tram was the City Market. Two Birds One Stone Brewery was right across the street. Great value during a football game weekend! A little noisy due to the Raggae Festival.

The room was nice, comfortable bed, but I was just wanting a cup of coffee and then espresso machine sounded like a lawnmower while it was running. Trying to figure out the parking situation was very dramatic, but thankfully the staff helped us through it. Overall it is a decent place to stay, and is relatively close to shopping and restaurants.

Everyone that worked there was super super nice

The staff was friendly and we were very happy with our room and the hotel overall. We were also traveling with our dog and really appreciated having a nice place where we could stay with him. He especially enjoyed watching everything going on outside from our window! We had breakfast at Show Pony inside the hotel and it was delicious. We both ordered The Pony and iced caramel flavored lattes. Breakfast was a little pricey — $15 for The Pony and $6 for the flavored latte — but having a really good breakfast right downstairs was extremely convenient, and everything we had was worth it. The hotel itself isn't the cheapest option, but for a newer hotel in this area, we thought the price was actually very reasonable. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again the next time we're in Kansas City.

The restaurant was fair priced and fantastic food. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. Rooms were clean and nice. View was great. The atmosphere and vibe was on point. I will make this my go to kc hotel from now on. That i couldn't stay longer

Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Including the restaurant staff. Facility was nice. Only challenge was parking. Had to park on a gravel lot behind hotel.
