Enjoyed the stay. Nice and clean and beds are super comfortable

The stay was pleasant, clean, and quiet, just as the photos depicted. The receptionists were polite and efficient, making the check-in process quick and hassle-free. Couldn’t park due to the window being busted.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. Very old building but awesome renovations. Also, the street car is right down the road from the hotel so that was very convenient to go to Power and light District and all the entertainment. Kansas City has to offer great stay we would come back and do it again.

The cafe was closed. We never once throughout our whole stay had our room cleaned/maid service. We had to request towels twice in order to get them and it took hours. They only ever had one person working the front desk & checking out people for drinks/snacks and it always took forever. I wouldn’t stay here again. Our view when we opened our curtains was literally other people’s windows and the walls of the hotel. It was our honeymoon it was all really disappointing for how much we paid. We honestly deserve some type of compensation back

Bathroom was not clean, found a used contact lens on the floor. For the price of the room, I would not recommend. The only parking offered is valet and that was not communicated prior to arrival. Price of valet is ridiculous. Breakfast is an extra cost of $20 per person. No real amenities included, which for the price of the hotel is outrageous. Bed was decent but can find a decent bed somewhere significantly cheaper. Would not stay again.

After 10 pm options for food were terrible. We went to the Chiefs game Sunday night and ended up with a very dry sandwich at midnight. Larry was great at the bar the other night when it was open.

Very clean and comfortable. Easy access to the Trolley.

Kind staff. Complimentary waters. Nice check-out time of 12 p.m. No umbrellas to loan out on a rainy day. Found several black hairs on the white bedspread as well as on the floor upon checking in.

They don’t clean rooms.

The beds are super comfy and the bathroom is completely updated and very modern! I have no complaints about anything!

The staff was more or less nice and accommodating. I saw in the reviews before booking this hotel that a few people were saying the staff was kind of rude, but I realize it's just the culture in kanasa city. There were a lot of locals I met that had the same kind of edge to them, not really mean but not very welcoming either. Especially compared to other states like Oklahoma or Arkansas whose people are usually very open and friendly to outsiders. The hotel did charge me $5 twice for some reason, which I think was for a tissue box and trash liners that I asked the front desk for. I just wish they would have told me a head of time I would have bought my own supplies somewhere else, but it's not a big deal. I wish the hotel.com or AC would tell you that velvet parking is a mandatory thing and not "optional" unless you want to park your car 3 blocks away. I came to KC to see a concert which was only a 10 min walk from the AC. We had a great time, but just a warning the streets get very shady at night. Be aware of your surroundings and be prepared for homeless people to ask for money. Stay in groups if you can

Great downtown KC stop for a business trip. This hotel is newly remodeled and Marriott did a great job. The only drawback was that there was no microwave in the room but there is one on property.

The parking I thought it was in a garage for the price and valet
