AC Hotel by Marriott Kansas City Downtown

Staff were rude at check in. No greeting, simply stated they have no rooms clean. Did not provide option to leave bags. When I returned front desk person wasn’t friendly or personable. Upon departure had bed bug bites down my leg. Also felt unsafe walking back to hotel at night due to location and sketchy people out front.

Hmmm, wasn’t my favorite. Room wasn’t super clean. Looked out to another building. Staff was short at check in. No coffee in the morning unless you paid for it. Overall, just okay. Not great by any means. Will find somewhere else next time. We stayed down the street last time and it was much better.

Excelente hotel!

I didn’t realize you didn’t have a parking lot or parking garage of your own. I traveled with my son for basketball alone and felt unsafe at night in the garage due to having to walk to the hotel from the garage. No laundry room either.

Everything was close, room was nice, i love how they have a hydration center, so you can get ice and water.

Larry, the bartender, is the friendliest, most knowledgeable, and down to earth guy, maybe ever. All his recommendations were top notch. He needs a raise.

Unfortunately due to worldcup our check-in was late and staff was not empowered to make it up to guests . Staff was polite and professional but I think they were short staffed

Clean. Staff was friendly. Expeesso machine was broken for the whole weekend. The AC in the common area was too hot. Not all elevators working

Modern They left a complimentary shower steamer pod in the lobby display which I didn’t see til I checked out. It belongs in the rooms where they get used! Also, one little coffee pod in the room is not enough. I’d suggest at least 2 regular and 2 decaf minimum. The breakfast at the hotel is not really a breakfast. Need traditional offerings such as eggs or they shouldn’t call it a restaurant.
