Hotel Savoy Kansas City, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I love this hotel it's my go-to spot when I come to KC it's clean plush the staff are always helpful and very convenient and accessible and a great area.

One word: Dirty Bathroom,

My room was clean & quiet. But the ac didn’t work great. Would probably stay there again.

Hotels and rooms were nice and historic, exactly what we were looking for. Surrounding area was nice, very walkable to breakfast and coffee spots. We also walked to Library Street Car station that runs for free we did City Market in Riverfront District, and had Lunch down south at the Country Club Plaza. Easy route to and from the airport and no traffic to Arrowhead for game day!

It’s a cute hotel, I didn’t like how you had to pay to park in the parking garage as your only option, which is $30 a day. When I checked in I was greeted but also the front desk employee was confused and took a while to get me checked in. Once I got to my room there were stains on the carpet and an awful strong cologne smell, and a black hair in the tub. My coffee maker didn’t work, and when I called room service for one I had to go down and grab the coffee myself since no one had time to bring it up. The bed was stiff but it wasn’t my worst hotel stay. For $600 to stay from Wednesday at 4:00 to Friday at 11:00 I expected more.

First we booked through Expedia a Corner King Suite with a city view. We received this message from them the morning of "Good morning Sheree, we are writing to inform you of an unexpected change regarding your upcoming reservation. Due to an unforeseen maintenance issue, the Corner King Suite w/ City View you originally booked is currently unavailable. To ensure you still have an exceptional experience, we have reassigned your reservation to a Deluxe King w/ City View." Now you would think this is a level trade, wouldn't you? It's Not!! When we got to the hotel we found out that there was a wedding party staying there. I asked the lady at the desk if this was the reason we got bumped from the room we requested, she said "probably". My reply was...are you kidding me?!?! I booked that room a month ago. She replied that those reservations through 3rd party agency don't get sent to them until the week of the reservation. I don't believe it!!!! Also found out that we were not allowed in the bar because someone had booked it. Now, I'm not mad, but don't you think that that could have been put in the message they sent me that morning? We finally got up to the room that they had switched us to, ever sleep in a closet before? The city view???? An empty parking garage!!!! But...if you look at the right angle...you could see a little bit of River Market. Never staying there again!!

Good location downtown and nice rooms.

Super clean and helpful staff. I was traveling with my teen and I always appreciate a safe and comfy feel when traveling with kids. It’s in a walkable location to get to some parts of the city. We ubered a lot due to the heat but you can walk to dining and shopping at city market.

Great place. Good location. Clean. Restaurant was booked for wedding, not their fault. Only negative was AC seemed t be broken. Room wouldn’t get colder than 75.

Beautiful hotel and would stay again. Told it was a former art museum. Staff were all helpful from front desk, restaurant, room service, and valet parking. Short walk to free street car (trolley) station to hop on/off and tour downtown KC.

Disappointing. Unfortunately, all the hallmarks of a mediocre chain property with a nicer room but tv that didn’t work.

Loved the room, furniture and curtains were great. Very nice sink, the water in the shower went from hot to cold a bit too easily, but very manageable. Front desk were a great help, I forgot my toothbrush/toothpaste but they had extra for me to use. Friendly and flexible, gave me a late check-out with no fuss. Great time and restaurant too!

Staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel is lovely and very close to the street car. Would definitely stay here again.
