The staff is outstanding!

I wasn’t expecting a one bedroom apartment! Our room was very spacious with a full kitchen including dishes! The bed was comfortable and water pressure was amazing! Just a few block walk to The Plaza but is a very steep hill coming back. Ample parking, we were able to park in the back where our “apartment” back door was with no extra charge. There’s a front door that opens into a hallway and exits on a sidewalk in front. Would definitely book again if the need ever arises!

The room was dismal. #318. The only window looked directly at people eating breakfast. Smelled musty. The smell of bacon and toast in the morning. The front desk were gracious and moved us to another room. Thank you.

We came to Kansas City to visit an exhibition at the Nelson Atkins Museum, so picked this hotel mainly for it's close proximity from the museum. It's location is excellent, just steps away from Kansas City's historical neighborhood Country Club Plaza with various stores and restaurants around, close to museums and attractions. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, decent breakfast. The only complaint comes from parking, it charges for onsite parking while there are plenty of free street parking around and even a free parking lot nearby.

Location Rooms are dated and need to be upgraded, especially the tub/shower.

I love this hotel. Huge, clean rooms. Great staff. Easy access to the plaza. Quiet. Yummy breakfast. Besides a pool it has it all!

Stay here quite frequently while we visit our daughter at college. It’s convenient to everything on the plaza and it’s nice to have breakfast included. Haven’t had a bad day yet!

We were on the 4th floor which I assume allows pets because our carpet smelled like pee if you got close, which we did with a toddler. It wasn’t cleaned as well as we’d have liked, finding tiny things in the carpet and in the cupboards. It’s an older building so expect some water damage. The air conditioning was only on or off. If I tried to raise the temp slightly, it would switch to heat. No thanks. The breakfast was very average. Your basic scrambled eggs and waffles with cereal and bought muffins. Terrible coffee. The location was good though!

Breakfast was good but once the hotel changes all the utensils in paper products, it lowers the CLASS of the hotel. What a shame. Also, there should be HOT WATER in the breakfast room as I couldn't make my hot tea in the morning. Very unhappy about that.
