Stayed a week August 2026. We adored Kauai Shores. Friendly helpful staff, perfect “ in the middle” location, Lava Lava restaurant is fabulous and right on the grounds. We will be back

My biggest complaint is the old, outdated beds and pillows. The bed mattress was hard and the pillows are so old they were flat. The parking was a daily challenge, but manageable to some degree. I think the hotel has the business and therefore should invest in new mattresses/pillows.

We have stayed here 4 years in a row! We love this place. Great staff, great amenities, great location. Self-park stalls are small but the complimentary valet makes up for it.

The property was in an awesome location. Right next to the beach, with a restaurant overlooking the beautiful landscape/beach. Upon check-in the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and it was all we needed to make our stay comfortable. No regrets booking this location. Will heavily consider staying here when we return next year. Aloha!

The outside of buildings felt a bit weathered and more motel than I was expecting, but the rooms inside were great and the property was beautiful! I would go back. I found the front desk staff pretty cold and not helpful with recommendations, but it was mostly one person I dealt with.

Our newly renovated room with 2 queen beds was large and comfortable. The “Coconut Marketplace” is located right next door with several shops, restaurants and a large grocery store, which is very convenient.

Great little hotel. Well kept and lively garden. The staff were genuinely nice and helpful. Easy beach access and The Lava Lava Club is actually a great spot to eat on the beachfront.

Loved that it was on the beach, free parking, easy in and out, and very relaxing. Breakfast on the beach was AWESOME!!

Great vibe and wonderful to be right on the beach. Restaurant was great and the live entertainment every night was a bonus. Location was perfect. Easy to drive up to Princeville or down to Poipu. Beautiful grounds with a fun atmosphere. Will definitely plan a stay again.
