Best Western Kennesaw

The staff was friendly, but that’s the highlight. The property appears to be updated, but corners were cut. The laundry room isn’t working. The pool was only available about half the time. The front door didn’t work, so you had to manually open an automatic door. The property isn’t policed properly. Someone was constantly smoking weed and that oder would take over the property without anything being done about it. When we arrived we had our choice of two non-smoking rooms that had clearly been smoked in or a musty room. It was common for a person to be seen hanging out in the common area that wasn’t a guest. Needless to say my family wasn’t impressed. It was cheap, but the price was felt in the product. I won’t ever stay at this property again.

This hotel was a complete disappointment and shock. When we went to our rooms after check-in, there was a distinct odor of marijuana in the hallway.It was very strong.3 rooms in the hallway had Privacy Please signs.I told the clerk at the front desk, but she did not seem to care.Did nothing about it.She said she called manager,but no answer.Hall was sprayed with deodorizer,but odor was there.The people in the rooms were never confronted/disturbed.Drapes were not hung,and light came in from the street light.We had to hang it as best we could. Front door was broken and had to be opened manually.Noisy due to interstate. Terrible place to stay.Avoid!!

One of the front desk people took it upon themselves to cancel my reservation before we arrived. Imagine how upset we were upon arrival. Tired sweaty and angry. Had to try an find another room, everything was practically sold out or super expensive. Whoever the 2nd shift person was that canceled our room should be reprimanded. I won't book there again.

Clean room, courteous staff, close by to shopping area

VERY friendly staff!! Clean room but could use some upgrades which seemed to be currently happening. Breakfast Wasn’t very fresh but it worked for what we needed.

Rooms were musty and smelled like pee. The main lobby had buckets collecting water from a leaky roof. Front doors didn’t open automatically you had to pull them open yourself. Breakfast was pretty much cereal and toast. The eggs were soup and very limited options. Ran out of coffee and never made anymore. The floor in the room and bathroom had soft spots where you felt like you might fall through. Beds were hard. Not much good to say

The only thing to share is if you have a dog, there are stones all around the property. Unless your dog is comfortable walking on stones, you have to walk down a busy road (there's sidewalks) to find a small area that has grass. Other than that, it was great!!

Clean room

I didn’t like the fact that there was no hot water, had to fight with the shower nozzle to stay up and the toilet was veryyyyyyyy short to the floor. My spouse is 6”3” and it was very hard for him to used the bathroom. What I like best was the location

Very nice Hotel!! Staff was very friendly and helpful!! Good location! Good breakfast! (Scrambled eggs,tater tots, waffle maker,cereal,juices,etc....) Would stay again for sure!

Honestly a very terrible experience. Our AC system did not work well which led to uncomfortable sleeping conditions. The bathroom was really dirty and the window ledges were visibly soiled. The free breakfast had just runny eggs and tater tots. By 9am, the waffle mix was out. Also, the location was terrible as it was right by 75 and the noise was deafening! I would never stay here again.

Shower water very low pressure. It’s ok for a place to sleep…

There is an AC blowing cold air at the center of the breakfast area, which make it quite cold when eating breakfast there. I found that the hair dryer was missing in my room, but the staff installed one quickly in the morning, thanks!

2.) However the lobby door was not working, I had to force it to open and to close it behind me. 3.) The shower head had a lot of calcium build up. 4.) The wall in front of the sink had some stains and hair stuck to the wall. 5.) The cabinet door in front of the fridge was unscrewed at one of the hinges. Again the staff was great. The condition of the hotel itself was beneath the price I was charged for the room.

On a good side it was quiet and close to the highway.
