The property is very old, the face basin was clogged, they charged for parking. Will not stay here again.

    The stay was great.

It was the worst motel ever!!please do not stay here unless you want your jack hammering every day the building is falling down the breakfast room, 10/12 you eat outside! Mold, bugs ,gray dingy towels instead of white! Used to be the best on the island! It’s closing soon so they don’t want the guest to know because I still want to collect the big high fee! I’m disputing mine because it wasn’t worth it! The pool was nasty

Really enjoyed our time here and the staff was great! Breakfast and shuttles were an added bonus as they seemed to be hard to come by.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Bugs and half the amenities were broken or closed

As soon as we walked in, the room had a musty smell, and everything felt sticky. The AC vent was covered in dust, and it honestly looked like the filter hadn’t been changed in a long time. The towels and bed sheets were an off-white color and had a musky smell, which made them feel unclean. We also booked a room with a sofa bed, but there were no extra sheets provided for it. The staff really deserves credit for their great customer service, and with better housekeeping and maintenance, this hotel could be a much better place to stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the room made it hard to fully enjoy our visit

I got a extra blanket with dead lizard

The pool water wasn't clean, and the restaurant and bar were far from comfortable—the hotel claimed this was due to renovations. I don't know if they always tell guests the same thing, but at the time of our visit, it was very uncomfortable and not a pleasant place to have breakfast.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Breakfast, swimming pool and ambience was very good

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

The restaurant and bar was under construction so laying out at the pool had a lot of noise and a lot of dust so I wasn't pleased about that. The pool had a lot of debris in it. I guess the filters were not on or working

    I would stay there again

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Great breakfast and convenient location to tourist access .

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

We weren’t in our room much, but the bed was comfortable. The pool was fantastic, and the room was clean upon our 5am arrival. Will be back!

Hotel was great. Service was great. Rooms were cleaned. Pool was amazing. Your a short bike ride or uber ride away from everything. Breakfast was decent.

Ac in the room is very loud and never realy got cold after trying to adjusted

The shuttle downtown leaves on the hour and returns at 20 past. Last return is 11:20 PM. The pool is beautiful but the July water is pretty warm. Life in the tropics.

    Good

This hotel should have never been still open to the public. It's incredibly run down. To get by while the place is under renovations, they are not operating a bar and breakfast service out proper facilities. The air conditioning in the room is so loud, you cannot carry on a conversation. And it runs at 78 degrees despite the setting being at 72. The water pressure in the shower spits out - it takes 15 minutes just to rinse off. There were people drinking from glass bottles of tequila in the beautiful pool facilities despite kids and other family travelers being present and smokers around the facility and no rules being enforced. The rooms were incredibly bright all night thanks to lights around the walkways and the windows facing the walkways with no blackout curtains. For television - there were only one or two local channels available so you could watch a game or the news. That would have been fine if disclosed. This place is shutting down for renovations I hear - If you are able to get out of your reservations before August, RUN!! This place was only about $50 less expensive than some really nice places we stayed. To make matters worse, there is another Marriot Fairfield close by. We got a bait and switch. This is NOT a Marriot quality and I'm giving up my Bonvoy points to never trust the brand again. It's too hit or miss with these run down places. - Burned twice in two separate towns.

    Very old fashion

The Staff was very helpful and friendly. We stayed for two nights in a king suite. Our room was clean. We left the bathroom light on and a few flying bugs collected in the shower but not a problem because I figured, that's Florida. If we needed any extra sheets for our pull out we could easily ask the front desk and it was brought up by housekeeping. Shower worked well and shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided. The AC worked well. We did not use the laundry rooms, $4 for each load to was and $4 to dry. Only one available. The pool was only open till 10pm. Although I wouldn't see a 24hr pool open an issue due to no lifeguard on duty, maybe it's an insurance liability for the property. Breakfast was convenient. Breakfast sandwiches warmed and ready to eat (usually sausage, egg and cheese). Also tasty pastries, hard-boiled eggs, condiments, juice, coffee (all day) and the 1st day chocolate milk! The eating area was under construction so it was convenient to grab and go back to your room or eat around the property at different tables around. Parking was convenient. The shuttle to downtown Key West was fantastic. No need to drive or find extra parking. You had to just call ahead to confirm your departure and number of riders. Pick up was punctual. Overall a really good stay! I'd definitely go back!
