Margaritaville Beach House Key West

We were here during the sargassum bloom. I would not let it stop me from returning. We took two boat trips offshore and had beautiful waters to swim in. The pool area is really fun and refreshing.

Wonderful!!! We enjoyed every minute!

We ended up with a beach view which was lovely, but the smell of the algae was bad during this summer and we couldn't swim in the closest beach. The rooms were very nice and spacious. Breakfast wasn't included and food was pricey. The pool and hot tub were small, but they had a very nice workout room. Some of the staff were very helpful in rearranging our room as we had taken a handicap room by mistake. They also had a handy shuttle to and from downtown and to the airport.

We where told we could arrive early then our room was not available for 4 hours, the fridge didn’t work properly due to placement resulting in food and medication going hot for over 8 hours and having to be thrown away, got locked in the restroom due to the pocket door being broken, all bedroom door locks needed replaced and could not be locked, one of the bathroom cabinet doors was falling off,the pool stairs where broken and a safety concern, no pool towels available at the pool side towels station, requested housekeeping to bring coffee and cups which never came and to top it off no plunger available according to housekeeping when needed due to the pool not flushing, I paid $1500 for a two night stay in Key West and it was definitely not worth it at all they only offered me $500 to spend on there property or $400 back to my original payment and that was in the evening of my second night when they finally offered that resolution

Shuttle service options and drivers (especially John) were so much fun and knowledgeable

Didn’t know about an extra 200 hotel fee until we got there and then they hold close to 600 dollars, staff was friendly but didn’t really help with that issue off the exits 185 they take from you as an additional hotel fee

We had a great time at the Margaritaville Beach House. It was close to downtown/Duval St, but to be honest we had the most fun hanging by the pool at the resort. It had a great vibe, and the staff was so attentive and fun. They had a great menu for food by the pool and later at night for dinner. We will definetly be staying again when we return to Key West.

Very overrated and overpriced. The place is very dated and old. The master bedroom door wouldn’t lock. The restaurant shut down early. The margaritas sucked. The beach areas smelled like a septic system. It was covered in sea weed. There was no parking.

Our room was relatively clean, but the shower didn’t drain. I really appreciated the concierge for her help, and the shuttle service was awesome. Overall it was a pretty alright hotel. I probably wouldn’t stay again, but I don’t really have complaints.

Beautiful property! Very well maintained. Rooms are spacious, clean and very quiet. Very friendly staff. Excellent restaurant. We loved the pool as the beach had sargassum and was unusable. We booked this hotel bc of the proximity to the beach. We were still happy that we booked it as it is very nice. Free shuttle service to and from downtown area. Had an issue with the AC on the last night but the hotel took care of us. Thank you so much for an amazing week!

Hotel staff goes above and beyond to achieve customer satisfaction. We requested a small door ramp for easier wheelchair access to the room, within minutes maintenance had it installed! Only negative was no wheelchair access to the bar. Hotel room, dining, lobby and grounds were clean and inviting! Very enjoyable stay in paradise!

Awesome all around, beach right across the street. Free shuttle to and from the airport and downtown. Be nice to the bartenders, they are nice with their pours. Sometimes give you a free drink. Definitely will stay there again. Fins Up
