Beautiful beach, helpful staff

Outside of the blood in the shower, the stay was great; amenities were nice, staff at the restaurant and bar were friendly, the staff signing out towels was diligent, the pathways were clear, trees trimmed.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely try to book again!!!

Room was the perfect temperature. Chart room was a fun place to grab a late night drink. Location is perfect.

The property was well maintained and beautiful. There was a nice beach access and pleasant pool area. The pool could’ve been better maintained especially regarding the chemicals and chlorine/pH balance. There were no working outdoor showers besides one for feet so that could’ve been improved. Majority of the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Both the beach bar and one Duvall were excellent restaurants. We were very pleased with amenities that were offered. However, it is worth noting that the pier house is one of the only hotels on the island that we know of that actually has a functional beach. We did not know this prior to booking and we’re very grateful once we found out how the other side of the island was. The pier house did not have an unpleasant seaweed ocean smell and the waters were very beautiful and clear.

The pool and the beach are excellent. The place could use a little updating. No live music was played by the bar in the afternoon

The Pierhouse needs a facelift. Needs a modern resort style pool and Smart TVs that you can sign into your accounts to watch TV. Instead of old-school cable with 15 channels.

Air conditioner did not work well in our room and maintenance had to come change out the unit.

Also water pressure is horrible. Will not come back. Definitely not worth the money.

The property is in a great location and has a nice pool and beach front on the water. The issue was with check in. I called the day before my arrival and asked for an early check in, the answer was a firm no. After driving all day and walking in the heat I arrived at the hotel an hour early and asked for my room. Not ready yet. I then waited until my check in time at 4. Room still not ready and they would call me. At 430 I asked for my room again, still not ready and after walking past the room there was no clean up crew in there. Would be an hour plus. Finally after several "too bad" go enjoy the pool responses they gave me a lesser room that was ready. This was from a manager and the front desk person who had to escalate it. Zero accomodations or explanation or apologies. And days before my arrival because of a family emergency I asked to cut my trip 1 day short so from 3 to 2. Firm no on that also. So nice place but don't expect any flexibility on anything regarding check in.

Second time we came for our anniversary we love it here beautiful resort. Everyone is so sweet.

Our room was not ready when we got there and they upgraded us from a spa suite to an room and we loved it. The boat traffics and the sunset were perfect. You can snorkel in the ocean there in a roped off area and wow amazing so many cool fish! We walked to everything because it’s so close …highly recommend

Location is perfect. Private beach is super clean and food/drink services are served very conveniently I wish they had room service, which can really make your days easy when it comes to early breakfast or late dinner.
