Set amid river pools and tropical gardens, the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa features a golf course, 7 restaurants and a spa. Each guest room includes a private balcony. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, an electronics charging station, a beverage chiller, a seating area, and a large work desk are offered in each guest room. A marble private bathroom features double vanities, bathrobes and free toiletries. Guest may dine at 7 different restaurants including upscale seafood cuisine at Tidepools, Italian specialties at Dondero’s, and sushi creations at Stevenson's. Outdoor, poolside, and golf clubhouse grab n go as well as 6 lounges offering fine wines, specialty cocktails, and premium liquors are also available. The Luau Show on Wednesdays and Sundays offers a Hawaiian buffet and showcases traditional Polynesian dance and culture. The Anara Spa and Salon features massage therapy, Hawaiian body and facial treatments and hair care. A lap pool and café are also available. A championship 18-hole golf course and pro shop, 3 tennis courts and pro shop, water sports center with equipment rental and horse stables are all located on site. The facility is very well maintained and the staff was very nice. We loved that they had free laundry units available to all guests and provided detergent. There were water stations throughout the facility. The gym was also very clean and new. Our family loved that the pools were open 24 hours. We would definitely come back again.

The property is long like a cruise ship. Depending on the location of your room and your mobility situation, location of your room can adversely affect your stay. Recommend double checking location of room in relation to lobby. Certain weather conditions apparently can attract bugs. Printed recommendations in room are to leave both slider and screen closed. Pavement and walkways are slippery when wet. Grab n go food in lobby coffee shop was unacceptable in quality. Beautiful location and views.

Pools were awesome, and a great included breakfast. Be ready to be around a lot of families, it is a kid friendly resort after all! Not a negative since we were one of them, just be aware that’s the vibe.

Our only advice. If you get an Uber to the resort, keep your driver’s cell number and schedule your rides and pay them cash. Otherwise getting rides to and from the resort can be very difficult. We were almost stranded in Lihue one time.

The property is incredible with so many things to do like large pool with slide, salt lagoon that feels like ocean, beach with waves that are too big for keikis. Great food!

Beautiful! Enjoyed the ocean, lagoon, lazy river, hot tub, Anara Spa garden couples massage. Walking distance to golf course!

overall property and environs were beautiful. Restaurants were also appealing. Pools and walkway areas were also nice no complaints
